Hello, I am Rockriver. I would call myself a semi-literate roleplayer, because I normally try to post at least 2+ detailed paragraphs, and will occasionally write more depending on how carried away I am with a roleplay. I have a bad habit of mirror posting, meaning if you give me, say, fifteen sentences, then I will usually give the same amount in return. I am trying to work my way out of that habit, and am gradually becoming better at preventing myself from doing it. I go by the Eastern Standard Time Zone. I love to use a lot of description in my sentences, and will try to format my posts to make them look slightly fancy. I am still sort of new with formatting, but I try my best to make my posts look neat and pretty.

There aren't many expectations that I have for you, because I am generally an easy-going and flexible person. However, there are some expectations that you must follow.
* Be patient. -I am a human being, and I do have a life outside of chickensmoothie. The amount of time I take on my posts usually depends on how much muse I currently have, and even if I do have a lot of muse, I am the sort of person that takes a bit longer to reply because I spend a lot of time thinking about my posts. I usually am very good about staying on top of things, but if after a few days you still haven't heard from me, then please feel free to send me a reminder message.
*Be active. -I would prefer if you could post at least once every three days. However, I will understand if you have things going on in your life such as a vacation as long as you notify me about it. I start to become anxious when someone hasn't replied within a long period of time without a reason.
*Semi-literate. -Please be capable of posting at least three sentences, even with writer's block. Unless you give me that much, I will have difficulty working on a decent reply.
*Be able to help out with the plot. -I would like it if you could help me out with the plot. I do not want to be the only person altering it. Besides, sometimes I will run out of ideas.
*Please have a plot in mind when you message me. -It doesn't have to be a thorough plot; it just has to be an idea that we can build off of.

*Good grammar and spelling. -I rarely ever make spelling mistakes and have good grammar as well. However, everyone makes mistakes, so I may as well sometimes.

Neighborhood Gang War Yeah, so, this wouldn't be like, hoodlum gangs or like mafia gangs. But two gangs of kids (like, ages 12-18) who are fighting for control over a neighborhood. One gang has rules the place for as long as anyone can remember, but another group of kids defies their "tyranny", and so formed a rebel gang, and yeah... this ignites a war. 8D I'd love to do this roleplay, as I'm writing a book based on the plot and it would help give me inspiration.

An RP about rescue dogs (dogs who rescue people). It would take place in the mountains, so it'd be very cold and snowy. They would live at a lodge with their handlers. There would be a leader, regular rescue dogs, and rescue dogs in training. I don't have any ideas for a deep plot right now, but if we wanted one, I'm sure we could come up with one. I wanna do an RP like this because of a story I started and I'm now on the third book, working very slowly off and on on it. I really enjoyed writing it and loved the idea, but since I haven't too much muse for the story, I'd love to do this. I'd probably use some charries from the books.

An RP about Rescue Dogs (dogs who were rescued). Yes, you probably read that and went "Wait, she just put Rescue Dogs twice -.-" No, I didn't. Well... actually, I did, but not the same kind of rescue dogs. xD I'm so confusing aren't I? Anyway, these are dogs who were once abused, or abandoned, or put in a dog fighting ring, but were rescued and are now being nursed back to health or at a shelter, waiting to be adopted. I would also do this with just pit bulls.

What can you expect from me? Well, I'm pretty literate. I also have pretty good grammer, and a stickler for proper spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and things of the like. My posts range from one to five paragraphs. However, I use my DS a lot to access CS, so posts may tend to be shorter and not as fancy then. I'm used to controling multiple characters.

However, I am looking for a partner who can match me. You must be able to type at least one good, detailed paragraph (5+ sentences). I can understand the occasional writer's block, but don't use it as an excuse. Please also have good grammar and spelling and know when to capitalize and punctuate. And no wall of boring text. Make it nice to look at, somehow. Also, you should be able to control at least three characters, and not all one gender.

hello, person who is reading this. i'm perdu, pleasure to meet you. although, if you like, you can call me perdy. i am looking for one or two onexone roleplays to fill my summer days, which is my reason for posting here. although that is quite obvious given the topic. anyway, i'm a high semi-literate roleplayer. at the very least, i can manage a decent sized paragraph, but i'm capable of quite a bit more with the right amount of muse. so i'm looking for something at that level. i admit that, upon starting roleplays, my posts can babble on a bit, but i assure you that as the roleplay progresses, i eventually get into the swing of things. as for plots, i'm not the best for coming up with them; but i do have a few up my sleeve. however, i do think that discussing plots, characters and relationships first is the best way to go in thinking up a roleplay. as for frequency, i tend to be on at least once or twice every day. also, i go by greenwich mean time, if it's of any interest to you. so now on to the main event; the topics.

over my time here on cs, i have experienced just about every genre of roleplay there is. however, nowadays i tend to stick to humanoid roleplays. as long as there is a good plot, i am interested in just about anything related to this genre. relating to realistic human roleplays, i have a couple of ideas up my sleeve. first and foremost, i think that a onexone in the style of the vow would be great; a married couple's life turned upside down when one of them is involved in an accident of some kind and suffers memory loss, forgetting their partner entirely. yes, i'm definitely interested in something like that. something else that i would be interested in would be an undercover cop type thing, or a roleplay in which someone is given a new identity , like in witness protection or something like that, and they have to adjust to a new life. or, perhaps something involving a spy , but they get caught up with a civilian or something. i dunno, i'm thinking out loud. i don't have very many other ideas for a realistic human roleplay. but if you have one yourself that you think might interest me, i'm all ears. anything from high-school to college, or small town to big city.
as for anything supernatural, i love it. i'm very into my mythology and anything that doesn't quite make sense. now, my favourite would probably have to be werewolves. i must admit that i prefer the whole 'twilight-shifting-into-big-wolves' idea. so, i guess you could say that shapeshifters is another topic i'd be interested in. the percy jackson world has probably got to be my favourite book series, but i've found that group roleplays of this kind don't always work out. so i'm interested in finding out if a onexone would work out. i don't really have a specific interest in anything else, but i'm sure if there was a plot concerning something else that interested me, i'd definitely do it. however, i must admit that romance plays a big part in keeping me interested in a roleplay. it's not exactly a requirement, although it is something that i'm interested in. despite having no love life whatsoever, i'm a big romantic at heart. character development is also something that greatly intrigues me. i enjoy seeing characters evolve. for example, a closed off person eventually growing into someone a little more open; changing, no matter how little the change is. i think it's beautiful.
