Matt nodded at the comment of setting up Mr. Green. After all, he did it almost everyday, so it wasn't a big change. He figured he was used to doing most of the work in Ordinary Boy, being the music theory nerd, a decent lyricist, and more or less being the baby-sitter for everyone. That was how he'd gotten his nickname, after all. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Of course, though, Toto always came up with strange variations on it, Wizzy, Ozzie, The Wonderful... it never ended. But at the comment about Toto not caring if this Shadow guy came along, Matt figured Toto had hit his head pretty hard. He didn't know too much of what had been going on that day, but Toto had been keeping him updated.

And, soon after Toto's comment, the prissy girl started screaming. Matt didn't really know what to think of it, just that she probably had borderline personality disorder like Bella Swan. Desperate, clingy, and no independence from men. Matt would give Toto the rundown of his psychological analysis, and count off the reasons why Toto needed to move on, but it was probably best to wait until he was coherent and in a good mood after rehearsal.

Matt glanced worriedly at Juliet. He knew the girl could fight; she'd almost taken him down a few summers ago when they had met, before they'd become friends and Ordinary Boy came into view. He raised an eyebrow in question, and said, "See you at Emme's in five, okay?" With that, he rode off, hoping Toto wouldn't fall off in his wounded state.

When they were submerged into a crowd of screaming girls Lianna couldn't help but feel a little claustrophobic, she hated crowds but for Green Day it would be worth it. Making sure to stay close to Drake as she didn't want to loose her ride, Lianna tried not to wince from all the screaming girls and guys but it wasn't easy. Even when Billie started talking Lianna could barely hear a thing, was this what all concerts were like? Glancing back to Drake Lianna smiled as if to say thank-you, she knew her voice would be drowned out by everything around them. Turning back to the stage Lianna could feel the music reverberating in her chest Lianna lost herself in the music and the cheering of the crowd.

Ace wasn't sure how to react as Serena's dad and his walked in the door together, "Your teacher here tells me that you're doing well in school" Ace's dad said, his happy tone sounding ever so slightly forced. it only took Ace a moment to realize that he was acting for Serena and her fathers benefit.

He nodded, uncertain of how to react and forced a smile onto his own face, "That would be correct" he said slowly. "um... Dad meet Serena and Serena meet my father" he said, making awkward introductions.

Serena put on her best award winning smile and shook his fathers hand. "It's very nice to meet you, sir" she said politely, her back straight showing much confidence in herself. She let go of his hand finally and then looked over at her father and then up at Ace. She moved slightly closer to him, feeling an odd presence from his father.

Gently she moved her hand so that it laced with his in the back of them so that no one could see the lacing of their hands. She squeezed it, trying to tell him that Serena chewed on her lip and then finally let go of his hand and moved to be closer to her father who was smiling encouragingly over at the two. "Yes! Ace has done fabulous in biology! one of my best students" he beamed. "you should be very proud of him" he said and nodded

Ace's dad blinked "One of your best students, really?" he chuckled "Ace seems to have forgotten to mention this, he can be rather shy about his accomplishments" he added. He smiled at Ace, who figured it was only clear to him just how fake the facial expression was as his dad was good at covering things up and looking convincing while doing so.

He squeezed Serena's hand as she pulled away and gave her an awkward smile as she moved over to stand by her father, leaving him standing alone facing the looks of both older men, one was proud and the other was pretending to be proud.

Serena's father nodded. "Understandable" he said and then looked at Ace. "don't be too, shy, alright? You're a good student" he said and then looked down at his daughter. "Reday to head out?" he asked Serena who was bouncing awkwardly from one leg to the other, as if something was bothering her.
"Yeah" she said, giving Ace one more look before turning towards the door. "See you tomorrow Ace, it was nice meeting you Mr.(i forgot his last name)" She then walked out, her father walking behind her quickly after giving a nod to Ace and his father. He placed an arm at Serena's waist and then moved towards the car, then home. ((wanna timeskip? i dont know what else to write....))

Cheyanne walked a bit closer to Shadow before he got out of his car and walked towards her. When he asked her if she was okay she shook her head and felt a few stray tears roll down her cheeks. "I know you'll probably hate me for this but Josh got bit by a car when he was riding his bike and he texted me saying he needed help, and I knew you would've been mad if I told you about it so I told you my dad needed me home. I got home and took one of my dad's cars and drove out to where Josh was and tried to help him but Juliet was trying to convince him to go practice with the band then Matty showed up and now Josh is going to practice with his band instead of getting his head wound checked out and I got really mad. I drove until I couldn't see anymore because of tears then I managed to get home and called you," she said pretty fast and braced herself for Shadow's yelling and anger. Her body tensed and she closed her eyes, looking down and waiting for either a verbal or physical blow like she was used to getting from her father. She feared that this would make their relationship crumble and he would hate her for lying to him and going to help Josh on that lie.

Ace maade his way down the hall, he was wearing a ball cap that kept his eyes in shadow and another black sweater over his dark blue t-shirt. He repressed a grimace as he had to shove his way through groups of populaire students who seemed to have nothing better to do in their mornings but to stand both in front and behind the main entrance to the school.

He immediently turned left towards his locker, keeping an eye out for Serena as he went. If she was with her friends than he wouldn't bother her but if she was alone then he had something for her that she might be interested in. He stuck his hand in his pocket and brushed the two tickets to the old drive in movie theatre slightly out of town, he only had to hope she was interested in old movies.
