What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Thriller
James loves the excitement and fast-flipping pages of a thriller book, but can't seem to actually face a real-life thriller event himself.

Overall, James is a calm and patient Mutato. He would want nothing more than to curl up and read a good book whenever he can. This boy can be shy and curious at the same time, and these two personality traits often inflict with each other. While James likes being curious and attempts being adventurous, his shyness often gets the better of him and he decided that reading a book is the safer option. He is very intelligent, but would never flaunt his "gift", partly because of his kindness, and partly because of his shyness. James is a real sweetheart and dreams all the time about being greater. He wants to be like the heroes, and even the villains in some times, in the thriller books he so often reads: fast, strong, cunning, bold, and courageous.
