Kalei's eyes shot open in surprise at first, but then slowly settled closed. It was new and fascinating, while a teeny but intimidating at the same time. In the whole, it was absolutely wonderful.

Cale;;

Thump. Cale's heart was beating so fast from the kiss he gave Kalei. Thump. He just couldn't stop the feeling that crept up along his spine. Thump. It was so incredible, so happy, he felt that the force of it would split him open right in her arms. Thump. "I love you Kalei." He said happily, the last remaining bubbles coming out of his mouth as he spoke.

A large grin split Kalei's features yet again. "I love you too." Her words were soft and tender as her heart raced along, soaring through all of the possibilities. She snuggled into his fur, resting her head on his chest and listening to the steady thump of his heart.

[gecko]

Cale;;

"Want to go dry off now?" He asked gently, smiling. They were still underwater, thanks to their jewels. Again, he thanked his own for the time he had spent down here.

[jayus]

"Ok." She pushed off the bottom and shot towards the surface, using her wings to propel her. The water streamed past, cooling her off, refreshing her. Her heart still sang with the joy she had just experienced.

Cale;;

Cale waited for Kalei to surface before he threw himself upwards towards the surface. Just as he was about halfway up, something light shining from the bottom of the lake caught his eye. He turned back down and kicked his way over to it, examining it. "Oh..." He breathed, then scooped it up in his hand. Stuffing the shiny object into his pocket, he resumed his trip back to shore.

Kalei scampered over to the towels, and shook herself off like a dog, before flipping down on the towels. Her feathers were limp, and she squeezed the water out of her toque before using her jewel to remove the water from her toque and feathers. She noticed that Cale wasn't out of the water yet, and was puzzled.

Cale;;

Cale quickly made his way towards Kalei after he broke the surface, pulling his sopping wet toque out of his [other] pocket. His feet touched the sandy beach, making him cringe at the uncomfortable feeling between his wet toes. "How can you stand this?" He asked Kalei with a laugh, gesturing to the ground before he squeezed water out of his toque.

Kalei laughed. "I love this! The sand is so warm and soft, and tickles between my toes."

Cale;;

"Ahh." Cale went over to Kalei, pulling his towel closer to hers and settling down on it. After a few moments had passed, he grabbed his backpack to prop up against and held his arms open for her.
