"Oh, no!" She shouted. In a second she was next to the Pounce's dead body. then she focused on the men. She jumped on him, clawing his shoulders and biting his arm.

Cloudy sighed. This was worse than Fuzzy! Three foxes were gone today. Sorrowfully she padded back to her den.

Swift licked her wound and his own cleaning them madly scared something would split open again or the men would do something worse "it's ok it's ok" he said

The men could be heard talking, as one had said, "Ahh. You see that black one? She's a real beauty. Her pelt will make excellent money."
The other one replied, "Yep. I don't recall catching that other one, but oh well. Is that black one dead?" The man looked at the foxes, making sure she was dead. "Nope. I don't think so. We'll just have to bring her out back and shoot it in the head. That'll kill it. Just be careful of the pelt. " The men laughed cruely, as one left and went outside carrying a gun.

Swift stood up to see him lying in the crate Layla was gone "LAYLA WERE ARE YOU?!" He yelled trying not to choke as he panted madly he could here the men " that red pelt and that black pelt will defiantly sell money" one said
"Yeah put the black one isn't hurt we should sell that as a pet it'll make millions!" Another said he shivered at the thought of it and hit the sides of the crates trying to get out
