Duchess wagged her tail eagerly, sitting down as
she awaited her owners command. She dashed as her owner
waved her hand, gracefully jumping over the first hurdle and
then over the other. She easily aced the teeter totter and quickly
dashed over to the tunnel, following everyone of her owners
commands. She gracefully jumped through the jump then
moved onto the Dog walk. The judges were amazed at
her grace, it seemed as if Duchess was dancing. Duchess
then jumped two ore hurdles, leaving only 7 more obstacles
she had to conquer. She dashed through another tunnel, using
quick maneuvers to make it seem as if she was dancing.
Duchess quickly swerved in and out of the weave poles,
her large ears picking up every one of her masters
commands and blocking out all of the cheering in
the background. She then finished of another teeter totter
and jumped through the two last hurdles. I did it!
Duchess thought as she panted and gently accepted her
favorite toy which her owner had rewarded her with. I
am the Dancing Duchess! She told herself as she looked
at a big TV which replayed her going through the course.
It looked as if Duchess was dancing as she went through every
obstacle in the course.

Even as a baby, Angel has cried. She was always crying. Wether it was from a thorn in her paw, or because her siblings were too tired to play, she cried. Finally, her momma took her aside. "Baby girl, you need to stop this." She whispered lightly. Angel nodded, sniffling. Her mother smiled, licking her head. It was time to name all the pups, and she had an idea. "I'll call you Angel." She said, looking at the pup. "W-why?" Angel asked, her voice hitching softly. Her mother smiled. "Because Angels don't cry sweetheart." She said, the mother did not know if this was true, but it was her only chance to stop her baby's emotional meltdowns. Angel became still. Then, she got up, bounding around the room. "I'm an Angel, I'm an Angel!" She yelled. Since getting her name, Angel hasn't cried.

As I watched the families croon over the pups, a sense of pride came over me. Soon those little darlings would be out in the world spreading the good Nannuck name, and making others want one of there own. Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder, calf and I looked down, the run of the litter had arched up my leg, one paw on my leg, the other curled in a perfect point. I smiled softly and bent to pick up the tiny pup, as I did she wriggled in a way just so that caused me to carry her as though she were a newborn baby. Paws limp on her belly, the brown and white doe look up at me with stunning blue eyes and a lopsided grin as her tongue lolled out to one side. It was at this time, as I rocked the little one back a fourth that my father came up behind me, leash in hand tethered to the proud father of the pup I held.

"Your mother and I were planning to keep one from this litter, since they all have those prized blue eyes some how..." He trailed off as he saw I was holding the Baby. He smirked

"I was going to tell you to pick one, but it seems as though she chose you."

"Now behave. All of you. I've got to go out for a while, but ill be back." Our master said as she locked up the door and left for her errand. "C'mon siblings. Our master is away and it's time to play!" I sad as I grinned.

"No way Vixie, the master said to be good. I don't want to get into trouble." Replied one of my litter mates as she yawned then laid down.

"Boooorrrriiiinnnggg!" I moaned. "You guys are a soooo boring!" I said as I abruptly sat down, thinking. A mischievous smile crept across my muzzle as I came up with a plan. I swiftly turned an pounced on my nearest sibling then darted off, a game of chase now in use. "Told you you were slow! You can't catch me!" I yelled as I led them through the house as fast as I could, a mess an a half in my wake. The game continued until we heard our owner's car pull into the driveway. I skidded to a halt and jumped to my favorite resting spot, while surveying all the damage. "Heh. I rule!" I thought as I quickly pretended to sleep and waited for the door to open.

Click. A key unlocked the lock.

Creak. The door slowly comes open.

"WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENED WHILE I WAS GONE???" My masters voice. I smirked as she tried to find the culprit, finally coming to me. "Well, now look what you have done, my little Vixie, my little Tricky Ringleader...how do you get into so much trouble?" I smiled so innocently as she picked me up (as I was still a pup then) and held me to survey the scene of destruction. Like I said...I rule!
