Ashcloud's breathing was slowly grown more shallow and raspier as the time ebbed by, and she could feel her life slipping from her. She wanted to hold on to, to live, but she just didn't have the strength or the energy. Her grey coat was matted with blood and rumpled from the fight. Her icy blue eyes were closed loosely, her mind shooting images of her life through her mind. It was all moving too fast. she couldn't see it. Any of it.

Loudstep wasn't particularly hungry, but he knew he had to eat. "I'd say we hunt while we're here. It'll be easier than keeping moving and trying to hunt at the same time." he meowed, pointing out that fact. His ginger fur ruffled against a chilling breeze, ears flattening to his head. He hated the cold. It annoyed him. His tabby striped seemed to dissipate against his ruffled ginger fur, the white on him making him look like he'd walked through snow.

Cinder looked over at him, surprised at what he was doing, and it didn't help much. She wiggled out of his touch and took another bite, now half the rabbit was gone and one more bite would make it even for them both. Once she was done, the dark grey she-cat began to wander off, her blue eyes round as she looked for a place where everything wasn't so close together. She didn't like things to be so cramped. Shuddering, she padded through the trees alone as Stonepaw finished his half.

He looked a bit sad when she moved away but he shook off the feeling and began to eat the rest of the rabbit...
He sat alone and looked up to see cinder disappear. The gray tom sighed and finished the rabbit and sat up and cleaned his paws. He arose to his paws and followed after cinder. He looked around not seeing her... "Cinder?" He called out, she was probably going to pop out and scare him.

He smiled with a nod and walked with her over to hollyclaw, who was with tigerclaw. "Hi hollyclaw!" He smiled "I was fishing with flamepaw today and we caught a bunch of fish! It was really fun" he purred and looked over to flamepaw.

The she cat smiled at her son and sat up next to tigerclaw "that's lovely! I'm so proud of you sparrowpaw" she purred and licked his ear, "I have to tell you and your brother and sister something so if you could get them and bring them back I'd love to tell you some news" she smiled. "Could you help him flamepaw?" She asked

"Over here Stonepaw!" Cinder called out, voice alight with joy. she knew where she was! She knew how to get home! Her fur was flat now but her tail looked like a joyful pine cone and her dark blue eyes were alight with recognition.

((Hey guys, I'm sorry that I haven't been posting at all. I've been having quite a busy summer. I will not be posting for a couple weeks, since I will be going on vacation overseas. I'm hoping that I might find a little wifi, but it's very unlikely that I will.))

Cinder looked over at him. "Yes! I know how to get home!" she meowed. Her dark grey fur flowed like the long grasses in the wind as she ran, racing into the familiar forest that her Clan called home. Her laughed joyously, eyes closed tight as she ran. Her paws skimmed lightly over the ground and she felt like she was flying. She hadn't felt so light in ages, and the apprentice-aged cat loved it.

He nodded quickly, turning and nearly racing out of the den in his haste. He managed to control his paws, which was a good thing, because he caught the fresh scent of Galestorm very close by. Had she gotten herself to camp all by herself? Cedarpaw skidded to a halt, then spotted her by the camp's entrance, lying on her side and still looking quite scratched up. "G-galestorm!" he flicked his tail, and glanced back for Shiverwhisker.
