Aurora looked at him and nodded, "We prefer the bikes." she told him as she smiled slightly. She remained where she was, not wanting to scare him.

Sitka nodded, he didn't know what to do now, "Thank you.." he said. Looking down a bit. "Why didn't either of you kill me?" he asked, wanting to know why she hadn't killed him, and wanting to know if she knew the reason her brother had let him be too.

Aurora looked at him, "I don't know." she said as she looked at him, "But you did help us."

Sitka nodded. "Because after I realized it was my parents who brought on their own demise and the death of your parents... I felt I had to do something... like it was my fault. Even though I was oblivious when my mother tucked me into the shadows where I was safe and told me to stay," His gaze was down at the ground.

Aurora looked at him, "That is why we didn't kill you, you did not want to harm our family." she said.

"But if I was any other vampire that slid into those crates and entangled in wire... I'd be dead." Sitka replied, not looking at her.

Aurora sighed softly, "Yes." she said. She had to admit she would have killed any other vampire.

"What makes me different from them?" Sitka asked, his burgundy eyes looking up and towards her.
A feral vampire was near by, scenting the air and heading towards the garage slowly. Smelling humans.
