Moonfire backed up. "Do you think that calling to another cat will help? What if this was an ambush? Well, this isn't. It's just me." She mewed, flicking her tail in annoyance. "Why don't YOU ask what I'm doing here instead??"

[Knuckles the Echidna]

"Why don't you not tell me what to do?" Sweetpaw shot back. "You're on my territory and we could shred you to pieces!"

"Sweetpaw, let me handle this." Creamfang meowed. "What are you doing here?" She growled.

Sweetpaw's pelt bristled, but she stood aside and watched her mentor and the other cat. I could've handled it! She thought indignantly.

A low growl rose in Moonfire's throat. "Would you believe the fact that I accidentally chased this squirrel over the border?" She mewed holding up the limp squirrel. Turning to Sweetpaw, she added, "Plus, if you tell Miststar, tell what really happened. Almost every cat experienced this."

[Knuckles the Echidna]

Sweetpaw snorted, glaring at Moonfire with glittering eyes.

Creamfang growled. "Don't talk to my apprentice that way. Keep your squirrel and get out of our clan." Creamfang hissed at the cat, trying to hide her collar.

"Yeah." Sweetpaw sneered, narrowing her eyes.

Couragestar and Moonstripe padded up on the border to wait. Couragestar blinked when he saw Moonfire facing Creamfang and Sweetpaw. "Moonfire?" He said, blinking in astonishment. "What are you doing here?"
