(Im curious too, because truthfully, the cub will not survive without a pride. Without a pride, a cub's chances of survival are negative something. The only way it's possible for the cub to live is if humans take the cub actually... That's why they do it because they know the cub cannot survive otherwise.)

Magi made the back wall of the cave very hot then set the stick down and continued to claw at the hot wall.

Vitani rose to her paws once more, scanning around for a cooler place to lay, alone. She sighed, trotting toward a different tree, slightly farther off from the pride as she yawned, setting her head on her paws.
