So guysss I have a question. Do you prefer 1st, 2nd, or 3rd person for writing? for reading? Just curious.

I've seen 2nd person done well exactly once.
That being said, I stick to third person xP

I actually have a soft spot for second person. However, it gets weird in the context of group RPs; usually when I RP in second person it's with friends in a small, private RP. ^^ I write with it fairly often.

I have never RPed in first person, nor have I written in it. All the 'I's and 'me's just leave my head spinning trying to differentiate between the actual 'me' and the character. Reading it though, is not hard.

All that said, I usually use third person. c:

So I was wondering if anyone could be interested in doing something based off of a dream I had last night.

Basically what it was, was that there were twelve older teens / young adult actors from around the world chosen to take place in a tv "survival" (and I use the word loosely) show on an island. So they fly out to this island but upon arriving realize that this is not what they were expecting. You see there are actually four houses who hate each other, and three of each of these people are distantly related to each house. Now the isle is plagued with demons from an old spirit who wishes to destroy each of the houses. You see each house studies a different kind of magic - you have the "Arcane House" the "Elemental House" the "Blood House" and finally the "Spirit House" (all with unique names I can't remember.) Now the houses are offering up these people as a sort of tribute to see who can defeat the demons and thrive the best, so that House can finally be declared the best, and the strongest. Though little do they know that the world between supernatural and mortal is ripping apart and the Houses will have to unite to try and save the worlds.

I'm not sure what the literacy would be - any suggestions?

Good grief your dreams and your imagination must be extremely vivid. I know I just made a roleplay, and I know I should restrict myself, but that sounds absolutely amazing. I would definitely join, no doubt. If you do come around to making it, reserve me a spot? c:

Also, in terms of literacy, I would make it loosely semi-lit/literate, as I feel that lately roleplays with extremely high literacy tend to lose "juice" and "fun" much much more quickly than, let's say, one-liner roleplays. However, I doubt anyone her would be able to manage one-liners; we're all so used to typing out so much that it comes naturally.

I write in 3rd, but for personally stories I stick to 1st
I'm good either way, but I sort of like 3rd better than 1st

On another topic. I usually write in third person, and I like reading in third person. I do, however, have a bit of a soft spot for RPing first person, even though I don't like reading books in first person. I'm kinda in love with second person, but only in philosophical, psychological writing and such, if you get what I mean.

I've written in all three perspectives before. The second person is tricky, I feel, but it can be fun ^^
In terms of roleplaying, I usually stick to third person so people don't forget who or which character post they're reading

normally i'm very much a third person writer. always has been and always will be.
although there was a short first person "phase" of sorts, which passed rather quickly.
however i kinda want to try second person sometime since i've never written in that perspective before except for in letters and/or school expository and persuasive pieces. and it reminds me a lot of homestuck.

oh in terms of second person, I read a book by Lucy Christopher called Stolen. At the end it was 'signed' by the character, but omg it was really good >-<
