Sophie spotted a Grovlye that was eyeing the room with a displeased grimace on its face. She had noticed that he was watching she and Baron with a judging glance. She shrugged and smiled at their new member, and Aipom. "Hi! What's your name?" she asked of the purple colored Pokémon. "I am Soph-" she was cut off when a Roselia collided with her. She hit the ground. Hard. She sputtered and got up. Her feathers were ruffled and she was covered in dirt. Well, this is fantastic. If I am not tripping, I am getting run into! she thought bitterly. She wiped the dirt off her pale beak before turning to see who had run into her. She gasped as she who it was. It was a Roselia, a shiny one at that! She couldn't help but be awestruck by the rare coloring of the grass type. She didn't know what to say, so she kept silent. She continued to fix the placement of her feathers, and tried to get all the dirt out from under them. She really hated feathers sometimes. Everything seemed to get under them. And when they were out of place, they felt funky. She sighed with relief as she had finally set her feathers back in order. She nervously fidgeted with her pendant.

Amongst the mist of confusion and noise, a pokemon seemed to mark down Lance specifically. The blue creature made his way towards the back of the room, but the Grovyle didn't move a muscle as he did. Arms still crossed, eyes still dark, mouth still stern, Lance greeted the Karateka with a tiny nod of his head. "Don't sulk, friend." Lance murmured for a greeting as Sawk came to a halt in front of him. "It isn't the funnest, quietest, or most interesting job in the world, but life could certainly be worse. And you are correct; I do need a team." His eyes swept the room as he wondered which group he was going to be stuck with. The space seemed to become more crowded every minute, though that wasn't possible as he'd been the last one to enter the room.
Ah, there they were. Near the corner stood a group of three. Within the click was a tough-looking Mankey, a summer turned Deerling, and a tiny Riolu. Not trapped with the obnoxious song-birds. Lance thought as he examined his new team members. Another glance towards Sophie brought a wave of relief. The Pidgy was ruffling her feathers and staring at a shiny Roselia in a starstruck sort of way, and Lance had to work not to shake his head in disbelief. At least that's something. His golden gaze returned to Sawk. "Thank you, friend." He said with another respectful nod of his head. "Though you may not know it, all the pokemon who work here appreciate your effort. You're well known in lands abroad for your hard work and dedication to this guild."
With that the Grovyle shifted past and headed towards his new team. Give them a chance. Time seemed to slow around him as the gecko shuffled across the floor and stopped near the Riolu. "Hello." Lance murmured quietly.

Fiona plummeted to the ground. She fell over, next to the pidgey. "Whoops. Sorry. First day excitement, you know. See ya around, I bet." She walked over to Sawk. "Do you know who is on my team..? I don't want to travel alone, not so fond of that." Sawk pointed to my team, and I looked over. So these are the people I have to be stuck with?She looked over, to see the other team. Oh man, I wish I was on THAT team... Being her stubborn self, she walked over. "Hi. I'm Fiona. Don't get on my nerves, not a smart idea." She rolled her eyes. "Anyways.. decide on a team name yet? I've been dying to find a good team name. Like, Team Vanquishers." She was hoping they didn't have a team name. I guess it would be something like, Team Fluffy Candy. And maybe they didn't decide on a leader yet, because I would be fit for the leader, not the rest of the happy bubbly people, who don't look fit to lead. She sighed, shook herself off for the second time the day, and put a neutral expression on her face.

[Alkene]

"Pssh...lovebirds" Baron repeated, frowning in annoyance. He turned back when the pidgey was knocked over by another pokemon. Surprisingly, he stayed quiet, only listening to the two. However, he wasnt fazed that she was a shiny pokemon. Ah so she was arrogant as he was huh? Challenge accepted. He ruffled up his feathers once more, simply listening.

Sereena's ears perked up when hearing the grovyle. For some reason he seemed like he didn't want to be here. She didn't like getting on anyone's bad side, so she smiled warmly and looked up at him. "Hello, I'm Sereena. I take it you're in our team?" She asked. He was tall, but not much taller than her. She crossed her arms and examined him for a bit before averting her eyes away.

Ah, so this pokemon was a bright and sunny sort of person, one who readily accepted the challenge of getting along with her team members. Lance tilted his head slightly to the side as he examined her more closely. From afar she'd seemed smaller, but now she wasn't much smaller than he was. The warmth radiating from the Riolu's greeting did nothing to thaw Lance's icy exterior. He nodded respectfully in her direction, but didn't smile. First impressions meant a lot to other pokemon, but for this Grovyle, he couldn't care less. He would be himself - and if they didn't like it, that was their problem. So he did nothing to soften his gaze or seem more welcoming. "You assume correctly. I'm the newest member of team . . . whatever you decided it call it. It's nice to meet you Sereena. And all of you guys, too."
By his tone of voice it didn't sound like he thought it to be very nice at all, but Lance said nothing to prove otherwise. The sharp leaves on his arms glinted a little as he unfolded them and let his arms hang like dead things at his side, and he shifted his weight a little to try and appear more casual. "My name is Lance. I don't go by any silly nicknames, and if you give me one, I will not answer to it." It wasn't his intention to sound rude or arrogant, he was just being himself. I won't pretend to by anything I'm not.Golden eyes glinting, he met Sereena's gaze. "Aside from that, I'm sure we're going to all get along just fine."

Sophie remained silent. The Roselia, Fiona, turned out to be an arrogant and rude one. She sighed. She disliked the attitude of grass type Pokémon. They always acted like they had to prove themselves. Sophie could care less about type difference and wasn't going to tolerate very much more of Fiona's cockiness. "How about we all vote on our team name, hmm? Hazel, was it? What name would you like?" she said turning to the Aipom. Her feathers were puffed up because of her irritation. Every Pokémon today had seemingly judged and assumed they were superior to her or Baron. Relax...it doesn't matter what they think. Let them judge...just be the better bird. she thought, slowly calming down and regaining her chipper attitude. She honestly didn't mind the name Fiona had said, but she wanted everyone to agree upon it. She had a dreading feeling that their group would have to work very hard to get along.

Fiona looked around at her 'team'mates, and could tell she was going to be the hated one. She mumbled something, and could shook her head slightly. I bet the others are thinking the same thing, "We are going to be the worst team, and this is going to be hard work getting along." "Well, while-" she darted her eyes to the person Sophie was looking at. "Hazel decides,can you at least tell me your names?" "Also, do you have any ideas? Because I don't want to be Team Nameless if we can't agree on names" Fiona huffed. She crossed her arms, showing her annoyance of the team. Maybe this won't be so bad.. or maybe it will. I hope if this doesn't turn out well, I can just leave.

Sophie inhaled deeply. They would make this work. "I agree with you there...I would rather not be dubbed as the only nameless team. I am Sophie by the way. Sorry for any hard feelings. It has been a long day for everyone." she said holing her wing out in introduction. Her pendant jingled softly as she moved. She wanted their team to be as one, and work together. She knew they wouldn't always get along, but she could hope couldn't she?

Fiona nodded. "Its fine, I suppose. I was late anyways, so I really don't know what has happened earlier." She shook her hands, and her petals poofed out. She looked at Baron, then to Sophie, and then Haze. "We need a team name that combines all of our ideas. But it CANNOT be a mess, or else, well, that would be a mess. "Even if I am a messy person.." she mumbled, loud enough for Sophie to hear. "Like, it can't be Team Tail Flight Ruffle Legends. It could be something like, Team Flight Flash or Team Starlight.. or Team Vanquishers" Fiona smirked at her spark of intelligence.

"I'll keep that in mind, Lance" Sereena replied. By now, her calm demeanor had shown and she wasn't bothered by his cold tone. She had met plenty of pokemon like him in her life. Nothing out of the ordinary. Setting the thought aside, she looked at her team mates. "Any ideas on team names?" she spoke out, ears perked. Her crimson eyes gazed at the three team mates.

Baron snickered at Fiona's comments. He simpled shrugged his shoulders. "Any team name's fine with me!" he shouted, grinning. When she started suggesting team names, he chimed in. "I like those ideas...Fifi" he said, shooting a challenging smirk. Before he could let out an obnoxious laugh, he was bonked in the head by a paw. "Keep it down, you're not an Exploud. We could hear you all the way from the corner" Sereena growled, leaving the Starly for her group with a bump on his head. "Stupid Riolus" he mumbled, rubbing his head.
