Chloe sighed, waiting for him. Maria was sitting right there when I got up and left the kitchen, and she didn't even ask where I was going. She was even there I left. She didn't even ask where I was going. What kind of best friend doesn't ask their best friend where they are going? She thought to herself.

Maria just simply hadn't noticed. She was talking with Jackson when she left from the table, and was watching him and Vincent when they left for the hospital. But now, she was practically pacing, worried. "Why aren't they back yet? They never just disappear for this long," she said.
