Do you write stories for your characters or just draw/order art of them?

I do both. There is more then one way to pamper a character. Not to mention you may have some characters that are only suited for stories and or art. A story is sometimes easier to write then you have complicated characters, but art is easier for simple characters. Depends on your interest.

Do you have a fursona/persona? Why or why not? If so, is he/she your favorite character? Does your fursona/persona more reflect you or who you want to be?

No, at the moment I do not have a fursona and I haven't had one for a good while now. I've had different fursonas before but the reason I don't have one anymore is simply because whenever I get around to design one, sooner or later I think it doesn't really represent me and everytime it just ends up as a character. And to be honest, no, my fursona has never been my favorite character.
Also, I think my previous fursonas always have more reflected who I wish to be than who I actually am.. at least talking about positive traits. The more negative kind of traits and flaws have represented me in some way.
I don't really feel the urge to create me a fursona though. I'm changing my looks constantly, so I feel like I wouldn't be able to settle for a design I like and will still like in a few months / years from now plus I feel like my personality has changed quite a bit in the past too so there's that. xP

All the time, though I rarely finish them. ^^; I've only ever finished one. My current project is a thriller/horror style story called Melancholia, which is approaching 15,000 words. I love writing about situations they find themselves in, as it helps me understand them on a deeper level. Also, I have trouble being motivated enough to draw them. ;_; I draw scenes from the story though. :3

Do you have a fursona/persona? Why or why not? If so, is he/she your favorite character? Does your fursona/persona more reflect you or who you want to be?

Yes, i have one: Mya. But my idea of fursona/persona is really different, lol
She don't have more art than my other characters ( i wish i could give she more attention).
She's my fursona, but not 'cause she's exactly like me. We have differences. I think she's my fursona 'cause we have a connection; her history, my history, we're so alike, i'm sure that if she was real, we would be best friends X3
She's not my favorite character, but, for sure, one of my favorites. I don't have a special one, i love all my charas as a family, but, i have some i like more.
Also, i hope to be like her someday. She's a professional writter, and his house is just super dupper awesome! X3

I write stories for them. Most part of the time, they're in portuguese, so, i don't post them on my character site or anything. Most of my characters are a big WIP, 'cause i'm always expanding their universe, personality, and etc.
But i have some characters i've already finished the histories :3

I do. I have a fursona, Merr, and a persona, Pix.
I also have a fansona, Gabe, but he is fairly difficult to explain and isn't really a part of this.

Why or why not?
I can't really explain 'why' specifically, because who really knows why we choose to do things. I guess I just liked the idea, and wanted to try it out myself? I also like the idea of having something to use as a way of showing my friendship with others that I don't know in reality. Having our sonas together is a way of showing our bond, in a way c:

Not in the slightest.
I believe that the representation should include the way you feel about yourself, if done correctly. I'm not going to make them a particular way just because it looks nice, or I prefer it that way... I really don't like Merr or Pix very much, but that's because I don't like who they are... As they are me.

Does your fursona/persona more reflect you or who you want to be?
They reflect me. From their terrible personalities to their histories, they reflect me. Merr has been switched between a character and a sona several times, so his history was exaggerated a bit, but still links in with mine if you know where to look. In a way, they also represent who I want to be, as they have traits that I admire... But these traits are still my own, just more easily accessible.

Yes I do, my baby Raggy. Although she doesn't exactly represent me so much, only me in a good mood because in a bad mood I certainly wouldn't be so many bright colours. I love her though and she's very spoilt.

In general, I order art. But, there are two characters, Willow & Nylon, that I write about, as well as my two fursonas, Magdalene & Three.

Do you have a fursona/persona?
I do. I sound a bit clueless of my identity when I tell you that I actually have four: Liberty, Wesley, Daryl, and Amott. Liberty is me in a nutshell, so she's my true fursona I suppose you could say. She's my practical side, while I need Wesley to sort of sum up my attitude: lazy, a tad annoying, very argumentative, but with some good physical traits. Daryl is my emotional side, so he's really just me when I'm sad. Amott is crazy. xD He's my little paranoid boy.

Why or why not?
I think it's very interesting the way that you described why you don't have a fursona. I don't necessarily feel the "need" persay to have an animal representation of myself. I feel absolutely 100% sure that I am nothing other than human. That's certainly not why I have fursonas. If it were, I'd have what you'd call an "animal spirit" instead. I actually have fursonas as a way of expressing myself, and also, I suppose, as a way of furthering my personality growth and allowing myself to learn more about myself. The way I see it, is that when you're writing a personality out for your fursona, you really have to reach into not only your good qualities, but also your bad qualities. I really wouldn't consider my fursonas to be me. Liberty is the closest thing that I have to myself, but she also has a mate and like eight puppies so as you can see there's a bit of a stretch there seeing as I'm single pringle. xD Vent art, writing stories, describing yourself... these are perfect uses for a fursona that a mere character just can't really fill for me.

If so, is he/she your favorite character?
I would say so, yes. I know my fursona's designs by heart, I love them to death, know them by name... I guess I really know the most about them. It's a bit difficult to make their histories, because your own history seems so normal when you're evaluating it yourself. But I really do love them. Obviously, Liberty is my favorite. She always will be my baby girl. But the boys are there to keep everything in order. I may demote Amott and Daryl down to characters at some point, although I really do love them just the same. But Wesley and Liberty, unless something truly drastic happens, will be here for a very, very long time.

Does your fursona/persona more reflect you or who you want to be?
Liberty reflects who I am in personality. She reflects who I want to be in a relationship, in a family (thought I don't want 8 babies LOLNO), and in a good heart I suppose.
Wesley is who I can be when I'm in a sarcastic mood. Or who I am when I'm with friends, I suppose. The way I interact with people I know, whereas, Liberty's attitude changes between who I am professionally and who I am when I'm alone.
Amott reflects all of my worries, Daryl reflects who I am, my regrets, and mainly who I am when I'm sad.
