⊱ Valkyrie heard the snarls at the same moment that Apocalypse must have. He was on his paws and off through the trees without another word. For a moment, she debated with herself if she should follow, but then rose anyway. If the pack was in trouble, she wanted to be there to help. She arrived moments after the beta, hearing the end of the conversation. Well, she would be there to show another wolf had joined them and to show it would be that much harder to steal anymore food and get away with it or fight the two wolves that now stood here.

Ísinn glanced thankfully at Valkyrie, a small smile spreading across her lips. They were weakened, cold, hungry, and now two wolves were injured, if she counted right. But they were united. And maybe, she thought, just maybe, we'll survive this. Whatever 'this' is. The thought warmed her. A pack.

╔═════════════════════════════════╗ A M B E R
╚═════════════════════════════════╝ NAME→ My name is Amber, nice to meet you. If you couldn't put two and two together, I was named after the color of my eyes. Amber means golden, like my eyes, which make me stand out. I don't really have any nicknames, but feel free to make one up I guess. Just nothing stupid like 'Amby' or anything like that, please. I like my name, and I wouldn't ever change it. I was born named Amber, and I will die named Amber. AGE→ I am three years old, a young adult you could call it. Three is a good age to be, because you're not treated like a pup, but like an adult. Which is nice. I hated being one because I was treated like a pup but expected to act like an adult. How do you expect me to do that. GENDER→ You couldn't smell the heat? I'm disappointed in you, to be quite honest. Here, I'll give you a hint. It starts with f and ends in ae. Take a wild guess. That's right, I'm a fae. Female. Lady. Girl. Want to check? RANK→ I'm a subordinate. I do a little of everything. Hunt. Protect the pack. Watch the pups. I'm satisfied with my rank, I'm not really striving for anything more, like alpha or beta. Sometimes I do wonder what it's like to be alpha, to have unlimited power and subordinate is good with me. PACK→ Uhh, well, this one. ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
"..THERE'S A LITTLE BIT OF DEVIL IN HER ANGEL EYES.."
APPEARANCE→ I am about the height of an average wolf, slightly smaller. I'm very slender and thin. My shoulders and haunches are very narrow. I'm lightweight and dainty, though don't get me wrong, there is a fine layer of muscle on my body, and I'm not weak. My pelt is black as night. Its quite helpful when I'm out in the dark, but it can be such a burden during winter when the ground is thick with snow. My fur is medium length. It's not so long that I look fluffy like a young pup, but not short like a hare in summer time. My fur is a good length. It's quite soft and silky as well. My eyes are probably my favorite thing about myself. They're the thing that most stand out. My eyes are a bright, golden amber color, which is very visible against my black body. My tail is feathery and full, and the pads of my paws are a shade of ebony. When I'm wet, my fur plasters against my skin and you can see underneath the top color, that at the very bottom of my fur, its a sandy, goldish color. This only appears when I'm soaked in water. I'm fairly content with how I look, though I wouldn't call myself conceited.
"..SHE'S A LITTLE BIT OF HEAVEN WITH A WILD SIDE.."
PERSONALITY→ I guess I could be described as adventurous. I love trying new things and going places I've never been before. As where some people see change as frightening, I see it as interesting. I see change as an adventure. I love to be around others and I like to have a good laugh. I don't enjoy being with loud or obnoxious wolves, but of course, if someone is annoying me, I'm not one to say something. When it comes to pack life, one thing I can tell you for sure is that I am loyal. My family and my pack comes first; I will pledge my undying loyalty to my pack. Always feed the pack before yourself, is one rule I live by. A few other quotes that I always have in the back of my mind are treat others the way you would want to be treated. This is huge for me. I get so angry when I see someone treating another wolf terribly and then expect to be treated like royalty. It just isn't fair. When something pisses me off, I can be pretty dangerous. I'll snap at any little thing. It doesn't happen often but when it does, watch out..getting off that topic, I'm a sweet and caring person.
I usually stay out of drama or anything of that sort but I can be a troublemaker. I have a wild side to go with my innocence. I'm a unique character, not too much like anybody else. And to me, that's a good thing. I'm quite the dreamer also, I often think of things to happen that never will. But that's alright with me. I don't like to sit still, I'm very active. I like to hunt, it gives me a rush. I also enjoy running and jumping. That might sound weird to you. What wolf just sits there jumping up and down for fun? Well, no, that's not what I mean. Jumping up on a ledge, or across a creek, or over a hedge. There's not many opportunities for things like that, but when there are, I'll seize the moment. I'm very open to friends. If someone I know is down, I'll try my best to be there for them. I'll tell them anything. I'm really an open book. Want to know something about me? Ask me, and you'll get a straight up answer. Nobody likes a liar, and one thing I can tell you is that I will always be honest. I hate it when people lie and I myself, almost never lie. However I can be very greedy. What's mine is mine, and no one else's and if anyone even thinks they can take something that's mine away from me, they've got another thing coming.
"..GOT A REBEL HEART A COUNTRY MILE WIDE.."
HISTORY→ Well first off I was born a loner. My mother's name was Robin. I remember her clearly. Flame-red pelt, and dark brown eyes. She was a tall, muscular fae, built for strength. She was kind and loving..to my siblings, at least. My father's name was Falas. Pronounced Fall-us. It was a strange name; none of us knew where he got it from. He was a huge, brown brute with amber eyes. I got my eyes from him. It wasn't hard to tell. His eyes were big, golden yellow orbs like mine. My father was kind also but family wasn't his first priority. We weren't that important to him. Next comes my siblings. Two boys, two girls, including me. Four of us in all. First you had Coal. I never told the others, but Coal was my favorite. He could've been my twin if he was more slender, and smaller. Big black brute with golden eyes, like mine. He was muscular and strong, with framed shoulders. He was kind and caring, protective over all of us. I miss Coal. Next came Aztec. His name was extremely odd - I know - but he was one of the kindest brutes you would ever meet. He was sweet and caring, always putting others before himself. Aztec was a smaller but still muscular wolf, with sandy brown fur and the most beautiful eyes; light brown with green flecks. He was the shy one. Last but not least was Mia. Mia was a dark brown fae with a bushy tail. She was fierce and strong, always picking fights. She could be quite rude at times, but she was my sister and I loved her nevertheless.
So there you had it. Our little family. Now you see, my family was all built with strength and muscle..except for me. I was thin and lean, light on my feet. Built for running and jumping. I was outcasted for that. My mother always treated my differently. I was the last to eat, for example. I didn't understand it at the time. She always took the other pups out for defense lessons but never took me. Then one day she took me. Just me. I was so excited. She told me to wait in the bush. I did. I waited patiently for seconds...minutes...hours. Then I realized..she wasn't coming back. I was so hurt and confused. You could just imagine it, a small black pup, excited and happy, waiting for her mother to return. And she never does. She wanted to get rid of me. I didn't understand then, but I do now. I don't know how I survived. I was only eight or nine months old. But I did. I lived. I was a loner for two years, when I ran into a pack. They treated me kinder than even my own family had..it was crazy.
"..THERE'S A LITTLE BIT OF DEVIL IN HER ANGEL EYES.."
MOTHER→ Robin - unknown FATHER→ Falas - unknown SIBLINGS→ Coal, Aztec, Mia - unknown CRUSH→ Nope. I don't really have my eye on anyone just right now. MATE→ If I don't have a crush, why would I have a mate? PUPS→ Come on now. No crush means no mate. No mate means no pups. Use common sense here. "..A LITTLE BIT OF DEVIL THOSE ANGEL EYES.."
Unique and different is the new generation of beautiful. You don't have to be like everyone else. In fact, I don't think you should.________________________________________

Totum could barely resist the scent of elk. It was a longing scent, something that his nose had not had the oppurtunity to smell for a long while. without noticing it, Totum had dropped his feeble bird on the ground and began to limp to his left. His nose led him onward. Totum weaved around the skin trees, letting the sunshine dapple onto his dark fur. He began to pant slightly and, although he had passed a few small ponds, Totum had not even bothered to stop. He was going faster than usual, and if he stopped now it would be hard to regain this walk. His bad paw was dragging a bit faster now. Whether it was the smooth forest floor or the simple strength of himself, Totum found the elk in a rather short amount of time. A beautiful wolf lay atop of it, her pelt looking like absolute beauty in the sun. Totum could not help himself - he was simply smitten by this wolf. Shaking the feeling off, he approached her. "Do you... I mean, would you like some help with that?"

Edmee had laid there for quite a bit and she was starting to get sleepy here by herself. She closed her eyes but kept her ears perked as to keep hearing from sounds. She began to hear something coming towards her. She could tell by the smell that it was a wolf. And what was this other smell? It smelled like her pack. Immediately she raised her head from resting on the elk to see a black wolf. She tilted her head in confusion. “Hm.” Was all she could say. Her eyes narrowed trying to get a closer look. She raised herself slowly from the elk and walked towards him, but with a small wince every time she stepped on her left leg. It had gotten better already.
As she got closer to the mysterious wolf and wiggled her nose, getting a better smell. She watched him intently as she circled around him once, but finally stopped in front of the wolf. “You smell like my pack but I've never seen you before.” she murmured, mostly to herself then to him. She simply shrugged and gave him a warm smile. She limped walked, with a slight limp, over to the elk again. “Anyways, yes. Could you help me drag this back to camp?”

Apocalypse snarled again, displeased by what Isinn said that happened. Yet again, he was very disappointed that he couldn't help them fight. After all, he was the vicious fighter. He turned to Isinn and said, "I'd like to talk to you about our...problem." He didn't want to alert the pack that food was scarce, so he didn't specify the problem loudly.

Ísinn hesitated, reluctant to leave the scene of the crime, seeing as the criminals were still hanging about. But Stormurinn, Valkyrie, and Eris were there. They could take care of themselves. "Why don't we find a more private setting?" she suggested, walking away and signaling for Apocalypse to follow. She paused in a small clearing- well, it wasn't a true clearing. Still in the woods, surrounded by thorny bushes that were easily twice her height, was a small circle only large enough to fit two, maybe three wolves. But the canopy overhead and the thorny walls on all side meant that the ground was snow-free... maybe even warm? The thorny bushes, in a few areas, were blocked by smooth, comfortable stone. She crouched then leapt as high as she could, managing to clear the wall, but scraping up her front paws in the process. She plopped down in the shelter and leaned against the cool rock, waiting for Apocalypse to follow. She envied his height and strength- surely he wouldn't end up with warm, sticky blood coating his paws. And here, alone and warm, away from the drama and drained from adrenaline, she began to shudder. A lump formed in her throat and she wanted nothing more than to be a carefree pup again, nestled against her adopted mother, buried by her siblings' warm fur and steady breaths. Pull yourself together. She closed her eyes and breathed in, breathed out. In, out. She had to maintain a semblance of calm by the time Apocalypse jumped in. Slowly, her breathing returned to normal, her body stopped quivering. What's wrong with you? She'd been so emotional lately. Pull yourself together.
