The stallion stopped, but only momentarially before bursting towards her in a random bucks and trotting quietly to the mare until he was around 3 metres from her. This mare was a graceful palamino with dark eyes like chocolate. She seemed bored, and took it out on the apple tree to gain the delicious red apples. As he watched one fall from lower in the tree he allowed it to roll towards himself, before scooping it up in his jaw and biting down on it cutting it to half, first eating the part in his mouth before bending down to gobble the second. Then he looked back to the mare as she called a little to him, calling back softly he spoke, "Well, hello there" He said smoothly, his voice like silk and velvet, which was his natural voice.

The stud looked at the pretty vanner mare. He spoke again, in a nice tone, "So what is a mare like yourself doing so far in the open plains?" He asked, truly curious, "Obviously these apples are good, but that isn't quite any reason?" He added quickly.

Personality;; Three words to describe Ghost are Loyal, Wise and Protective. He has already been around for seven years and knows the way of a herd and the world, he understands the predators and dangers of the wild and knows how to protect his mares from the many threats. Although sometimes he tends to be a little overprotective, Ghost is sweet and kind, and even though he would never show it to another stallion, he wouldn't hurt a fly. Unless of course that fly was bugging him. Then watch out! Once your Ghost's friend your his friend for life and he would risk everything for a friend. He is extremely loyal and very smart, but can get real stubborn at times. He loves his mares but he knows that sometimes in order to keep them safe he must be a bit tough at times.
History;; If your looking for an interesting story look elsewhere. Ghost's life is far from different, like any other normal wild horse he was born and raised in his dam's herd and for his first few years just frolicked around gleefully with the other colts and fillies. But of course once the young stallion turned two he was driven away by his sire to find his own herd. His first few weeks were unfortunate, so instead of experiencing untold dangers in solitude, Ghost joined a small band of bachelor stallions. At first all was well with the other stallions, but eventually all the stallions started their own bands and Ghost was alone once again.

For awhile Ghost was alone, a mare joined his herd but was soon snaked away by a stronger older stallion. Eventually though Ghost learned, he soon had a bigger herd with many mares and foals that he adored, but the winter broke it all apart. Soon the cold came rolling in, and many of the foals died of the bitter cold and then there was a terrible blizzard that separated and even killed a few of the mares. Once again Ghost was alone and grieving, but the heartbreak didn't stop him.

He had many herds, and many mares and lots of foals. Now he is a bachelor though, still looking for more mares.

Very friendly and bubbly, but sometimes tends to be a bit bossy. She loves foals and makes a good mother, she is responsible and trustworthy, but can often be quite stubborn. Another lower point is she is VERY bold, although often a good thing, she tends to speak her mind a bit to much which often results in trouble.

Personality;; Melody is a very sweet and polite little mare who is extremely quiet. Although quite shy, Melody is not afraid to state her opinion and will always stand up for the ones she loves. The pretty mare tends to spook easily, and once you are rude to her it can take a little while to earn back her trust. Overall, Melody is a sweet, shy and jittery young horse who is not afraid to speak her mind.
History;; At first, Melody's tale is relatively normal, born to the wild, raised in a herd, but then everything changed. A huge blizzard came, covering the land in thick snow, separating the yearling from the rest of her herd. Frightened and alone, the filly was forced to survive in the harsh conditions. Luckily she found a herd, not a very nice one but protection was life, and living was what mattered.

Melody never saw her birth herd again, and for a year was at the mercy of a cruel band stallion. Finally, when he had dozed off she sneaked away, galloping forest she spooked at every noise she heard. Then when she found another herd it was deja'vu, mean leader all over again. Melody was starting to dislike stallions.

This time, the band stallion died, and the mares split up. Now Melody roams around, steering clear of danger, and not really bothering with herds, but maybe a good stallion could win her over with words of kindness and meaning?

☾ Ghost sighed contentedly as he ambled along idly. He had next to nothing to do, no herd to care for, no mares to court. Nothing. Only to enjoy the so far calm and peaceful day. The tall pinto stallion whinnied softly, calling to any horses who may be in the area. To be honest the paint didn't enjoy being alone, he much preferred the company of another. After all, a lone horse was a dead horse.

So far Ghost had survived quite easily by himself, he was a tall, strong and powerful stallion after all. In the distance he saw something move. He flicked an ear back cautiously, wondering what this thing was. A wolf? Or maybe a mountain lion? Who knew? But being the nosy horse he was, he stepped closer and peered curiously through a small bush. Only another horse!

Nickering loudly, Ghost called to the appaloosa mare and eagerly went closer to her. "Hello there!" He smiled brightly, as he greeted the mare. Now that he had seen another horse near he felt cheerful, and hopeful, like maybe he really could start a herd here! For the past few weeks it had only been him and the wide open world, not another equine being in sight!

} The long grass swayed in the cool spring breeze, it tickled the underbelly of a placid appaloosa mare of whom had called this meadow her home for so long. Her mane, the colour of cream was ruffled by the unmistaken wind, which by now, carried her strong scent anywhere. But for some reason the Appaloosa who went by the name Candles in the Moonlight, felt more then safe in this heaven like place. There had been no strangers who had passed by apart from the few mares that travelled quickly back to their herds with their newborns.

By that time Candle had moved further towards the water source in the green meadow and further away from the safety of the trees. She had forgotten to ensure her safety would not be intruded by another animal. But by the time she had swung around to the sound of snapping twigs and the scent of a stranger it was to late to attempt to flee.

Standing not far from her was a Pinto horse, a stallion. He called to her, and for a moment there was silence, but then he made a move, closing in the gap between the two. Standing her ground Candle was frozen, she had never been bred before, nor been in proper company of a stallion since her sire in her original herd, and now here the appaloosa mare stood, half stunned, half afraid. Unsure of herself for the first time; In a long time!

Rose thought for a while, "I just..." she sighed, "I wanted to get across, but kinda got distracted by the grass. I heading towards the woods over there" she said pointing with her nose to gloomy woods in the distance. "How about you? What where you doing here?" she asked

The Stallion thought for a moment curiously listening to her explanation. "Well I came here by my own free will really. To see if many horses roamed" he answered. His muzzled grazing the ground as he ate some of the grass.
