That is a hard question because I have so many favorites it's not even funny..... Hmmm my top favorites I guess if I HAD to choose would be eevee, purrloin, snivy, roseraid, flygon, mew, sandslash, bannette, flaafy, and luxray.

My favourite pokemon? I only have a few pokemon which I don't like very much, but I guess my top 10 are
Blastoise, Rayquaza, Rapidash, Gyarados, Meganium, Entei, Sceptile, Delcatty, Meowth, Chatot, Serperior, Chandelure, Archeops, Volcarona
=> More than 10, I know, but it's hard to decide XD

I hate small, cute pokémon.
That means I hate Eevee, Eeveelutions, Pikachu,
Pichu, Shinx, Smoochum...
It's nothing personal, it's just I find them overused. They're too popular, and seriously, I hate popular guys.

Anyways, I HATE it when, when asked to name their favourite Pokemon, people say giant monsters like Kyurem, Regigigas, Darkrai and all of those huge Pokemon. AGH. Just becaue they're huge and burly doesn't mean they are appealing in ANY WAY. This makes me so mad...

But...but...Darkrai's smaller than me...and he/it is one of my favorite Pokemon...and I also like Rayquaza and Dialga and Reshiram and Zekrom. Why can't I like big, cool Pokemon?

no, i mean my rant is about younger boys who like the big Pokemon only because of the typing and hard-hitting and nothing else, not the people who like big Pokemon as appearences AS WELL as statwise.

My ten favourite?
1-DRAGONITE.
2-CHARIZARD.
3-TORTERRA
4- VENUSAUR
5- FERALIGATR
6- BLASTOISE
7- Marowak
8- Gengar
9- Garchomp
10- Salamence.
I could actually give you a list of the pokémon I like.
It's a very short list.
No normal types except Arceus.
See? That's a lot of pokémon already out.

Now...
1- Dragonite
He's a dragon. He uses fire, water, electric, flying, ground, rock, Dragon type moves. His name is actually Dragon Pokémon. Dragonite is actually the name of the jewel that contained a dragon's power. I love dragons, and I love Dragonite, hands down. I I had to choose between Dragonite and Charizard? Dragonite. If I had to choose between Dragonite and a Pikachu? You're kidding me. Dragonite without a doubt. If I couldn't be a Dragonite? I'd be a Shiny Dragonite, gurl. Why? Dragonite's my all-purpose pokémon. My spirit pokémon, my alter-ego pokémon... Dragonite can be the funny, but serious, almost always ready for a party, hard-working type, but not afraid to kick some tail.

2- Charizard.
Resembles a dragon. Dragonite's best bro. That's enough. Charizard's the kind... Basically like Dragonite.

3- Torterra

He's an Ankylosaur carrying a tree. He's the Moving Continent pokémon. He's awesome. And my first pokémon. He can be the over-protective, caring kind, always there for you.

4- Venusaur

You want an fully-evolved assassin-looking pokémon? Either Sceptile or Venusaur. Venusaur has poison. Venusaur has blades. Venusaur can strangle. Do I need to say more? Venusaur can be the nice-on the outside pokémon, the physical manifestation of ‘Don't judge a book by it's cover’.

5- Feraligatr

An aligator that can walk perfectly, and can bend metal with his jaws. Basically awesome! Feraligatr's the chill, hungry, and sometimes shy kind.

6- Blastoise

A walking tank-turtle who can breakdance. Do I need any other reason?

I won't say the others... The reasons are obvious.

But I like cool-looking, strong-looking, big pokémon. Not because of the bullying, and hitting and that. It's because I know there is a nice personality behind that buff-looking metaphorical metal cover. And I can identify with them. It's the story of my life. Why I don't like small, cute, popular pokémon? Because I feel like they get everything open-handed. Popular, ‘cute’ people punched my self-confidence over and over when I was little. And I grew up to become the monster I am today... No matter. Doesn't matter.
That's why I like big, under-rated pokémon. They're the story of my life ;u;.

Totally not obvious which type is my favourite, lolol.
Skarmory is among the best things to ever happen because Steel/Flying, ftw!
Still, though, Staraptor remains my number one. Fell in love with it at first sight xD

It was an emboar. Because i already had a lucario and planning to get virizion having three fighting types AND one grass type would make me horrible against Flying.
