What Is Serenity Shelter?
Serenity is a dog rescue. We rescue dogs of all kinds and rehabilitate them to be able to be adopted. Not all dogs have a nice past, such as just being given up to the shelter because their owners couldn't afford to care for them. Some are abandoned. Some were left for dead. But each one is special, and each one is full of love and ready to share it. We give the dogs the best care we can provide, but nothing beats a home that they can call their own. So are you ready to adopt?

-This dog's family could no longer afford to keep a dog in the house. They simply dropped the dog on the side of the road and drove off. Shortly after, we found the collie wandering along the side of the rode. S/he only just arrived so we don't know anything about it's personality or it's gender.

Personality: Akira is very shy. She loved the family she had before and when they could no longer afford her and left her, she lost most of her energy to trust people. Now she's always on edge and it takes a good amount of time to get her to trust you. She's very smart though, being a herding dog, and always makes sure that everything is in order. Sometimes she won't even notice it, it's just instinct. She loves to chase a good, fast squirrel every now and then. She's always wanted to live on a farm(with serendipity! Ahaha). C:
