"Okay!" she mewed, pure excitement bubbling up inside her. She kinda wanted to be a medicine cat apprentice...but she also wanted to be a regular one. This was her first time collecting herbs with Scorchedwhisker- maybe she would find it boring and be just happy being a regular apprentice...but then, it might be the other way....

Aprilkit was quietly sleeping in the nursery, silently dreaming of her days to come. Visions of vast summer fields of wheat and grass waved with the breeze of her imagination, while winter storms raged on in the distant mountain ranges. A bird twittered in the brush, and with a sweep of two claws she caught it. Other cats surrounded her and thanked her for helping the Clan, and together they shared an abundance of fresh-kill. The Clan was happy, and to know that gave her utter joy.
