Alice walked off to where Bill had told her to go, snorting to herself. As she entered the second corral, she spotted a large black horse, one that in her eyes looked mean. Shrugging she roped the horse and proceeded to tack him before mounting him. "Alright, be good now." She mumbled, gently kicking his sides before trotting out to meet Dally where Billy had told them to go.

Billy (foreman, Johanson Ranch):
He clucked and kicked his horse into a canter and caught up with Alice and Dally. "I've decided to come wit you," he smiled, trying to be charming. His horse snorted and bolted to the side. Billy grabbed at the reins to make him slow. Finally, the horse came to a stop and heaved a sigh. Billy shook his head and turned him back to Alice. He trotted over to them. "Are ya stayin' in town?" he asked.
Nate (Ranchhand, Johanson Ranch):
The cook had taken the steer into the house and was cleaning it up for supper. Nate mounted his horse in one swing and trotted him over to the corrals. He hated the hot weather, but he had to deal with it. He spotted Connor moving the cattle and cantered over to him. "Howdy," he said. "Another hot day, huh?"

Connor Johnson
Ranchhand
Connor looked up as he heard the sound of hooves upon the hard dry land, he saw it was Nate he tipped his hat at him, then gave a quick glance back to the cattle. Connor raised his hands so Eiyota would concentrate and pick his head up which he did, Connor nodded along with what he said "When isn't it?" he said jokingly "At least I ain't buckin' barley or whatever, though this ain't much fun."

Nate (Ranchand, Johanson Ranch):
He chuckled, "It ain't hot in those winter storms! We had t'put one of those steers down. It's was limpin' perty bad." Nate shook his head and smiled, "At least we're eatin' good tonight!" Nate looked up and grumbled, "Not again! Look, that darn blood bull is out again! If JJ doesn't get him fixed or get rid of 'im, I don't know what I'ma gonna do." The bull was heading towards the South pasture, where the cows were. Nate cursed under his breath and cantered off in the direction of the bull. He hated that bull with a passion. It had cut open one of his legs when it got out for the 5th time.

Connor Johnson
Ranchhand
He nodded and chuckled slightly agreeing with him, he looked up and saw the bull making his way towards the other corral, Connor nudged Eiyota forward and he slid the door across as all the cattle was now in the corral and couldn't escape. He quickly spun Eiyota round and kicked him on to a fast canter as they dodged the other fences and water trough's around the place, he caught up with Nate and seen as though he already had his rope out he made a loop and slowed Eiyota as they came close to the bull, he swung it above his head a few times before letting go, unfortunately it only hit his side and not his horns or head. Soon he started swinging it above his head again waiting for the bull to turn slightly so he could get a better shot.

Connor Johnson
Ranch hand
He saw the perfect opportunity that Nate had given him, though Connor hoped that neither him or his horse was injured, and with a sharp flick of his forearm he flung the rope towards the bull, it got around the horns which wasn't perfect but was enough to control it. Instantly he tightened the rope round the horn of his saddle and stooped Eiyota as he pulled against the weight of the bull and Connor pulled both the rope and Eiyota back, the bull stopped and turned towards them as he was pulled backwards "...........Nate, your turn." he said as he watched the bull, luckily this was the easier part so Nate hopefully wouldn't miss.

Billy (foreman, Johanson Ranch):
"I'm just wonderin'," he chuckled. "He's nobody's, so as long as you come here you can ride him. And, yes, you can name 'im." Billy smiled, his white teeth flashed.
Nate (ranchhand, Johanson Ranch):
He lassoed the horns as well. His gelding snorted and began to back up. The bull had no where to run. If it went at Nate, Connor could pull him back. "Which corral are we going to put 'im in?" Nate asked with a huff.
