This thread is dedicated to the roleplayer's of chicken smoothie that are at the semi-literate+ level. There has been a lack of semi-literate or literate roleplays here on chicken smoothie, and so this thread is for roleplayer's of this level to get together!


Note: To those of you who are not at semi-literate or literate level, please do not be offended. Everyone has to start somewhere. c:

Here you may discuss roleplaying in general, more advanced roleplaying (but please no bashing of people who are not semi-literate or literate), roleplay ideas you have that you want feedback on, your own semi-lit or lit roleplay's, or form ones with other members.

1. Be polite
2. No bashing of anyone
3. Stay on topic
4. No mini-modding
5. Don't quote your form, it only makes it harder to update.
6. If you have not been accepted, you are not a member, so do not post. Please wait until you have been accepted to start posting.
7. Please don't tamper with the form! I know we all love to make them pretty, but there is a reason I have them set up the way they are.
9. Please do no use intro posts as your sample.
10. Please only post/advertise semi-literate+ roleplays.
11. Do not contact any of the mod's to ask if you were accepted or declined. Take a look yourself.
12. Do not contact any of the mod's to ask if you were ignored or skipped over. We use the search engine. We don't miss anyone.
13. Once you have broken too many rules, we reserve the right to decline you.

For your reference, the general things I will be looking for in forms are as follows...
ＱＵＡＬＩＴＹ ＯＶＥＲ ＱＵＡＮＴＩＴＹ
Don't pick your longest post ever if it is not a good example of your current work. When I say this, I want you to give me a good example! Too many applications have examples that the writer says "not my best. I usually write better," or something along these lines. I see this as lazy. Give me a good example please, and if I see anything written about your work is normally better I will not even look at your form.
ＧＲＡＭＭＡＲ & ＳＰＥＬＬＩＮＧ
It's a simple thing that should be second nature to all semi-lit+ writers. I don't want to see wrong tenses, incorrect punctuation, incorrect spelling, or any of that (I understand there may be a mistake every now and then; we are only human, after all).
ＳＥＮＴＥＮＣＥ ＳＴＲＵＣＴＵＲＥ
Your writing should flow. Sentences shouldn't be overly long, and they shouldn't be unbelievably short. I'll be looking at your writing style, and you general mechanics. The number one no-no is I don't want your writing to sound mechanical/forced. It shouldn't sound like a children's book (Susie did this... Then Susie did this... Susie saw Bob and said hi...).

There will be an acceptance post every Sunday or Monday. Members will be brought in weekly. This way pending members don't need to pester me unless I miss the acceptance dates ^^

If no one wants to watch it, basically the idea is that the world froze over, and mankind had to settle in areas in the far corners of the Earth, and they built these maze like cities. The people who live there didn't have enough humans to patrol everything, so they took dogs. The dogs they then injected, to make them faster, stronger, ect. Eventually, they started to implant robotic machinery into them, finally turning the dogs into cyborgs. Inside the "barracks" where they keep the dogs that they now used as police, they have several "dogs" that they want to use for something else. They're not entirely dogs, they are something percent wolf, which makes them more valuable than the dogs. But the wolves don't know what they are going to be used for, so maybe they escape and then have the trained, cyborg dogs coming after them?

We need two more members if anyone's interested. And are you guys okay if we do this on AS?

I've been thinking about this
and I want to do a small group roleplay with you guys
no specific plot, maybe just young adults
where you play a role that you aren't strong in so that you can get better
for instance, if you want to try out but have no experience in playing a submissive character
like I'm still new to it, you have to play a submissive, shy charrie rather than a bolder, more dominant charrie.
if you're not used to playing foreigners or people that are bilingual, you'd focus on that.
if you want to try but are worried about getting wrong other sexualities, that too.
basically, you play the opposite of your most familiar, favorite charrie.
so if you love having a nerdy personality, it has to be preppy.

I know the idea sucks and it is basically the opposite of something you would want, but I think it would be a great writing/character building exercise. Anyone interested?

sso, who remembersfamily ties? I kinda wanna remake it now that its summer [at least for me]. I would basically keep it the same, too. No forms, no posting minimum, as many characters as you want and however you want them. I plan to take the second in command again, a girl, and then the child that is taken by the rival pack. There will be two to three spies, depending on how many people are interested, and I do want some characters the same- third in command that always fights with second in command [that would be scene's], a person who gets in trouble for losing the girl, and I Was thinking maybe a big brother for my girl character. so yeah, interest?

i just wanted to explain a bit more on how this will work
each of the characters will obviously be like the show, for example my character's gonna have a hero complex.
the fandoms/characters would interact with each other based on their similarities and differences in the shows.
like, maybe the harry potter and merlin fandoms hate each other's guts because they're both based on magic
but have different ideas of how it works. whereas the les mis fandom and the lion king fandom would be buds
because hey! broadway! [obviously these are just examples]. but anyhow the characters themselves wouldn't be
totally based off the show, just a little bit. personalities could vary. like the homestuck kid could be super-popular
or something like that. i dunno. but yeah, anyways...
