The Prussian's once bright face seemed to be fading; the pigment draining quickly with each coming day. His burning red eyes were now dull and seemed like those of a dead man. Dark, circular bags hung beneath the lifeless orbs. Sickly was an understatement at this point. The washed out navy blue of the military jacket he had always worn dangled loosely on his shoulders, often slipping to his waist. A sordid black tank top covered his torso. Aged cobalt trousers enveloped his legs. Cigarette butts were scattered upon his desk, side by side with unused cigarettes and cigars. An array of lighters took up the upper corner of the desk, which were some of the only things arranged in an attempt to be organized. Nicotine patches for quitters lay on the floor, indicating how dedicated the Prussian really was with cutting off his tobacco supply. He compulsively picked up his favourite lighter and lit the cigarette, holding it in his mouth whilst he sat the lighter down.
Gilbert exhaled the light grey fumes as he leaned over to turn his desktop on, just like he had done every day for the past year. It was a compulsive ritual for him. Turn on the computer, sign into Skype, see who's online, then play video games and get intoxicated.
But this time Gilbert signed into Skype and something seemed…different. Scrolling through his contacts, he reached a name he had checked everyday for the past year. No activity was registered with the name that was seemingly haunting him. Something today had been different. His eyes skimming the name as usual, he noticed the white x next to the contact's name had been replaced by a hazel check with a green outline, indicating that they were online. The Prussian almost jumped out of his chair.
Gilbert: Liz?
No response.
Gilbert: Lizzy?
Please.
Gilbert: Elizaveta. Please.
The screen's glow reflected off of his eyes as his heart skipped a beat when that specific contact replied.

sso, who remembersfamily ties? I kinda wanna remake it now that its summer [at least for me]. I would basically keep it the same, too. No forms, no posting minimum, as many characters as you want and however you want them. I plan to take the second in command again, a girl, and then the child that is taken by the rival pack. There will be two to three spies, depending on how many people are interested, and I do want some characters the same- third in command that always fights with second in command [that would be scene's], a person who gets in trouble for losing the girl, and I Was thinking maybe a big brother for my girl character. so yeah, interest?
