He ducks just in time, narrowly avoiding an attack from one of the larger imps. Gog, it's ugly. He can't wait to kill it dead, and also all of its friends. He hopes that Fallow is managing to deal with hers, as some of these things are kinda relentless. He'd feel kinda bad if she were to die.

You throw the spear at the imp and it easily catches throw its chest. To your surprise, building grist is left behind and you go to collect it, feeling mighty. You just wish you didn't have the hole in the wall where the imps could get in easily. You kill a few more, collecting the grist. You put your laptop in your sylladex, leaving your hive through the hole. You take a quick look at where you're at before continuing. Not to your surprise, you're on top of one of the giant hourglasses. You hang over the edge and spot the underground room of your house inside it.
"hoW aM i GoING To GeT DoWN?" You sigh in distress as WhalkingFish Sprite giggles.

"I feel tempted t[] l[][]k ar[]und, but I really need t[] stay at my hive..." Fallow growled, glancing back to her hive, which had stairs protruding from its side. She sighed, her thoughts wondering to her friends again. She hoped they were alright. While she was thinking, she hadn't noticed an imp sneaking up on her until it tackled her. Screaming, Fallow wrestled the imp off and hit it brutally with her weapon a few times. Fallow collected the fallen grist as she stood back up, she really needed to be more careful and not let her thoughts wonder.
Fallow walked around her hive, taking her first full view of her home since the meteor crash. It only managed to take out her room, she knew her lusus' body was still under the rock...Fallow frowned and shook her head slowly. She continued her journey around it, stopping where she started. "M[]re imps..." She growled, "Will these things just st[]p eventually?"
FAWNSPRITE: Maybe.
"They're kind []f...I d[]n't kn[]w...frightening in a s[]rt []f way, d[]n't y[]u agree?"
FAWNSPRITE: How so?
"I mean... ah, I g[]t t[] st[]p talking. I'm getting distracted again, need t[] get m[]re []f the grist stuff." And so, that's what Fallow did. She hacked and slashed through the imps as they came near, collecting fallen grist.

Sykies, still having his computer screen projected in front of his face like a huge distraction, began trolling while kicking imp butt.

SE: F&l!
SE: You OK?
SE: W&it don't &nswer th&t you're busy
SE: I &m too but I'm h&ving & h&rd time focusing with kingcoon over here b&rking orders at me
SE: Is your sprite this &nnoying?
SE: Oh m&n I just killed a big one
SE: I've got m&d grist spoils going on over here.
SE: Looks like you do too.
SE: &s soon &s I'm through showing these guys who's boss, I'll build you more things.

"G[][]d g[]g what did I just type?" Fallow shook her head in embarrassment, and quickly tried to change the subject.

Fallow fended off an unlucky imp, who quickly fell to her weapon. She hoped that she was collecting a bunch of grist, she was curious to see what Sykies would deploy around her hive.
FAWNSPRITE: Fallow. Fallow. Fallow. Hey, more imps are getting in your hive! Better get them!

SD: []h, and in answer to your questi[]n ab[]ut my sprite being ann[]ying.
SD: Yes. Very annoying. X)

WHALKINGFISH SPRITE: Damien!
You turn to whalkingfish sprite, which is looking inside your hive. You see a few more imps which are climbing all over your game items. A surprise imp grabs onto your leg and you kick it off the hourglass so it falls to its death, leaving some build grist down on the ground and you leave a mental note to collect that later when you figure out how to get down.

Fallow relaxed a little, though she still felt nervous. Fallow walked back into her hive, dealing with the imps that were messing with her stuff. She collected the fallen grist as she put her numerous figurines and such back where they belonged.
FAWNSPRITE: Hey. Hey Fallow. I just made up a joke.
FAWNSPRITE: Listen alright? It's great.
"G[]g, it's g[]ing t[] make j[]kes n[]w? Fallow thought to herself. "[]kay, let's hear it." Fallow said with a sigh.
FAWNSPRITE: So the imps are going through our figurines? Well, it Cerv-s-us right for not putting them up.
FAWNSPRITE: Get it? 'cause your Fallow Cervus...Cerv-s-us...comedy gold right?
Fallow slowly put her hand to her face, "...N[]. Just n[]. Please d[]n't ever attempt t[] make that j[]ke again." Fallow walked away from the protesting sprite, taking care of a few more stray imps.

Sykies is enjoying himself, actually. Usually, he doesn't get opportunities to fight in close combat, since the trolls he tends to steal from are way more powerful than he is.
