What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Ƥɛяƨσиαℓιтʏ; Aonani could be described as a free spirit. She spends her days dancing around in the sky, soaking in the warmth from the sun and enjoying herself, playing in the sunshine. She's very friendly towards others, but becomes very annoyed if they are too bossy or tell her that she's too "aloof" and should focus more. Aonani likes nothing better than to have her head in the clouds- sometimes literally. Despite her preferred state of being, she can become down-to-earth and serious when needed. Once this happens, she puts her thinking cap on and becomes very resourceful and a good listener. Although she likes the company of others, sometimes she wants her own time to float around and just think.

Her favorite fish is the colorful Parrot Fish! She finds them very nice and calm, and she loves their colors and the way that they seem to "eat" the sand. Aonani also thinks that they are very silly fish!

Username: Bronwyn
Name: Hoku - [meaning 'star' in Hawaiian]
Personality: Hoku is a rather derpy little Mutato. He likes to eat, a lot, so he might look a little on the pudgy side. Lots of UV radiation to nom on all day long. He's happy, sometimes cuddly, and extremely impatient. When he's kept inside, or needs a rest, he will pace and pace and pace... Quite the little pacer. His tiny feet must get tired. <3

You have... a username? Yup! It's AmberSky345, at your service!

And what's that cuties name? Kaimana [kai-mah-nah] scuffled her paws awkwardly, before raising her head to speak. "I am Kaimana, call me Mana." she said boldly, uncomfortable with her name, meaning 'Divine Power of the Sea' in Hawaiian. That was a bit much, to call her 'Divine'.

Kaimana chuckled softly and raised her head. "I am a free girl! Luck follows me around a lot, like I'm a charm or something. People call me too soft, but I don't really care 'coz you only live once! I could fly to the moon and back on a yellow spatula!" she declared, laughing at her own joke. She really was a delight to be around, as she had a fun air to her. The only thing that wasn't too nice about her was her smell. It smelt like salty sea, and to be honest, her manners or English weren't the best in the world.

Do you happen to have any art with her and her favourite fish? "Actually, I do! Well, that was strange," Mana began, cocking her head as if to say, how did you know? "It's of me and a 'Moorish Idol', the most beautiful and majestic fish ever!"


Anything else before I scuttle off? "Well, I've actually written a poem myself!" Kaimana said with a flourishing of her tail.
"Ah-hem:
Deep down under the great blue sea,
Counting fishies, one, two- wait!
That's not how the story goes,
How can fish count with no toes?

Dive underneath the silken waves,
Explore forbidden underwater caves.
For the secrets of the ocean await you, friend,
Now close your eyes, surface the water, and open them again."
Mana bowed, and looked up to her 'audience'. "Thank you for listening. I call my very first poem... 'Open your eyes to the ocean'."

She loves getting wet. No matter how - from swimming to splashing in the rain puddles at the side of the road. Her real dream is to go to the ocean. (Imagine all~ the water, and the fish, too!) And you know at some restauranteur they put a lemon slice in your glass of water? She would rather eat the lemon first. (The personality reflects my wonder of the ocean and love to stay out in the rain.)
