[What the Neff]

A long time ago – I might’ve been able to stand by my brothers and feast on the same kill. The East and the West were part of a moving circle – a balance of push and pull. There was kindness and cooperation between the clans, but the time has seemed to pass. Lips are turned and teeth are shown, sinking deep into the fabric of the hearts and minds of all my brethren. The Chimera Pack – who lie within the East roamed the lands and herded the fallow deer. They are strong and swift – quick and sharp minded. Then there are the Artemis - healers, leaders, and scouts ran thick within their blood. They are kind hearted and loyal – but fierce.
When winter would come, drowning the land in white – the two packs would work together to protect the land and keep one another alive.
However Mother Nature made a turn for the worst this year. With terrible snow storms and harsh conditions produced by the weather, the wolves are unable to work together as usual, leaving us in a horrible bind. With the deer left unable to breed efficiently and starving to death with the freezing ice, hunting is nearly impossible. Wolves became ill and our ribs are protruding from ours sides.
The alpha of the Chimera Pack added extra hunts to their daily work – without alerting the Artemis Pack of their actions. In an attempt to a peaceful resolution, the Artemis pack confronted the alpha of her actions – and blood was spilled. Sides were drawn and grudges were formed. The Chimera withdrew from their way of life – helping and sharing only with each other in order to survive, leaving the Artemis empty pawed.
Some wolves say differently – but I know the truth.
I can see the common ground.

Cold hearted and power hungry, this pack will stop at nothing to claim what they believe to be theirs. They are very large and pure muscle. Fighters to the bone. The Chimera is led by a war driven Alphess. She is ruthless and a born leader. Captivating the true meaning of hate and revenge. Though they are strong willed they still work strongly as a team and take care of each others needs. They will do whatever it takes to keep their pack alive and strong.

Where did the name come from? The Chimera was, according to Greek mythology, a monstrous fire-breathing female and male creature of Lycia, composed of the parts of three animals — a lion, a snake and a goat. Usually depicted as a lion, with the head of a goat arising from its back, and a tail that ended in a snake's head, the Chimera was one of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna and a sibling of such monsters as Cerberus and the Lernaean Hydra.

ARES || FAE || AlPHESS || SINGLE
Named after the god of war, murder and bloodshed. She likes to life up to her name, she has no problem getting dirty and belives that all problems can, and should be solved through violence. She is a fearsome leader but a strong one. She knows the ins and outs of her territory and runs her pack to its fullest potential. Though she is tough, she is caring to her family and gives them everything, and I mean everything, they could ever need. She is a very skilled hunter and fighter. Though she relies on others to do her day to day "chores", she will always take care of the "dirty work" for herself.
Raised by her father she was chosen to lead the pack at a young age. Upon hearing of the news for his daughter, Ares father trained her to become ruthless and demanding. He taught her how to get what she needed, even when she would fight it. Eventually she was conditioned to fear nothing and fight for her pack. He father was later killed by a former member of the Artemis pack, she convinced herself that it was planned and since then has had a undeniable hate for the artemis pack. Some say her hate is stronger than any leader of the Chimera pack before her.
She has no family left, her father was the last living member.
She has no mate or crush, she is focused more on running a pack and getting revenge. Though if a brute were to come around that could hold his own against her, she might just let him in.

The Artemis pack is one of peace and strength. Living by a code that benefits both wolves and Mother nature alike. Beautiful and compassionate wolves. What can make you weak, can also make you strong. They are united as one, taking care of one another as though they were blood kin. Vowing to protect the way of life that they once knew true. Earth has a balance that must remain, with out it, all civilization would clash, until there were none left. Do no mistake their compassion for disability, they raise lip and tooth as well as their former brethren. Cunning and wise becomes their strongest tool for survival, using their compassion to guide them. Their leader is one that will always to the place in front, in the line of fire. A valley that has been broken, will always be home, peace will guide them to their fate. What ever it may hold.

Where does the name come from? ARTEMIS was the great Olympian goddess of hunting, wilderness and wild animals. She was also a goddess of childbirth, and the protectress of the girl child up to the age of marriage. Her twin brother Apollon was similarly the protector of the boy child. Together the two gods were also bringers of sudden death and disease--Artemis targetted women and girls, and Apollon men and boys.

Nyx is named after the god of the night. He was given this name because of his black coat, sprinkled with just a few silver specks, holding a strong resemblance to the stars in the sky. He also gained this name because even in the dark of the night it is his duty to watch over and protect the land and all that inhabit it. He is compassion and proud. Making decisions based on what is best for the pack and all that it relies on to survive. Though it is rarely seen, he can be very aggressive in confrontation. This being the main reason why he avoids it, other than believing in peace as opposed to violence.
Nyx was raised by his aunt until she died. She taught him about the earth and all of its creatures and how they are all important in keeping each other alive and strong. She took him in when flood waters took away his mother and father. Though, she was later murdered by Ares and her pack as a retaliation/ revenge for the death of her father.
Nyx is very family oriented and believes that there is always room for more in the pack and on the earth. He wants to have a large family and to have a mate, however at the moment he is single.
Nyx has no remaining kin, many were taken in the flood two years ago and his aunt, the last of them, was murdered by the Chimera.

History:
["I was born an only pup into my father's pack since my mother was a loner who captured my fathers heart. My mother was a very wise wolf who had learned everything on her own. When she join the pack it took her awhile to become adjusted to it but kept her loner side as well. She would take me out into the forest that surround the camp and taught me how to hunt, track, find water and what herbs could help if I happen to get hurt and was alone. My father was a fighter and since I was an only pup and male, he made sure to train me into a natural killer. My mother didn't like it and after I finish training with my dad she would always tell me to never fully become like the other fighters in the pack, to always show my feelings and not store them away forever. I listen and when I was old enough to find a mate, I fell in love with a beautiful young fae. She was amazing, very sweet and loving but I wasn't the only one interested in her. The son of the alpha pair also wanted her. I challenge him and in the end won due to seriously injuring the young brute. But the fae felt sorry for the other brute and choose him. The alpha male was displease that I had hurt his only son and ordered all the fighters to either kill me or run me out of the territory, including my father. I fought against them but there were to many for me to handle on my own. So I ran out of the territory. After that I couldn't trust anybody and wouldn't let myself fall in love with another fae again. I became a loner at the age of two and a half and on a quest to stay away from every other wolf in the world, but that was hard to do since I met wolves every once in awhile. Some of them packs that wanted me to join due to my strength and knowledge but I declined. I was a loner until the age of six, I had grown stronger and had advanced in my training farther then my father or pack could ever teach me. I knew I could last on my own but it was time for me to settle down and join a pack. I am still keeping my promise to never fall in love but hey, you never know, a fae might be able to put up wit me and break through but I highly doubt that."]

History:
["I had a rough early life. Born the runt of a litter of five to the alpha pair. My father did not want any weaklings among his offspring and once I was old enough to leave my mother, he abandon me in the forest. I cried for what felt like hours and tried my best to move around. Suddenly a tall dark figure appeared in front of me and lowered his head to look at me. He gave a smile then lay down before asking me my name and where I was from. I told him I was called runt and that I was from the nearby pack but was left out here by my dad. He nodded his head then looked around before resting his icy blue gaze on me then told me he was going to call me Rain and that he was going to take care of me. Since then he raised me and trained me. I knew his name but instead I had always called him father or dad since he was more of one then my real one. My step dad and I traveled everywhere, seeing new things and learning more about the land and the animals that live there. However, one day my dad could not get up, it was in the middle of winter and he had gotten sick. I stayed with him until he passed but before his final breath, he told me to find a pack but a great pack, not one like my real fathers. Therefore, after I said my good byes and was able to emotionally hold myself together, I went looking. I traveled for a long time before I ever saw a wolf again. The winter was rough and I figure that most wolves had died or move to some place warmer. But when spring came, I found lots of wolves then this pack and thankfully, the alpha let me join."]

Personality Description: Thy is bold, rash, and ruthless. He has little to no heart. He's sadistic and cruel to those who cross him, and he is sly. He holds loyalty only to Ares, and those who attempt to cross her will meet his wrath. He barely thinks before he reacts, which is a slight problem. He is ambitious, and he will not rest until he gets what he desires.
Your Story: Thy was pack-bred by an wolf named Yule. She was weak from sickness, and died shortly after Thy stopped drinking her milk. Yule, within her pack rights, never told anyone who the father was, and to this day it remains a mystery. Thy's brother died shortly after his birth, so he has no kin.
