It's been exactly a year since this whole mess started; a year since everyone you knew and loved transformed into heartless monsters; a year since your life became a living hell...

What started out as a simple research experiment quickly turned into a worldwide epidemic as a highly contageous virus was leaked into the water supply of a small, Nevada, town. The government was able to keep the virus contained in the town for a short period of time, but as people moved, so did the virus; within a few short months, it had already spread worldwide.

Anyone unfortunate enough to contract this strange virus will become increasingly more and more violent over a period of twenty-four hours. Seeing as there are little to no early signs of the virus, it's usually too late before anyone can figure out that something is wrong. The infected no longer have any control over their actions as the virus slowly takes over. All human emotions are cut; they will kill neighbors and family alike with no remorse.

Your goal? Survive.

Personality-
For the most part, Evangeline only worries about herself. Sure, she'll help you if you're in trouble, but she definitley won't stay around for long. I guess you could say she has trust issues. It all roots back to the fact that she has lost nearly every living relative she's come to love, only to have them turn on her. The only person she relies on is herself, she figures that if you learn to trust and look to another person for assistance, they'll only let you down in the end. She is very sly and probably one of the best liars you'll ever come across since she's always having to make up believable excuses to leave or get herself out of a situation. Sure, she gets lonely isolating herself from everyone around her, but figures it's the best way. If you get too close to someone, losing them is even harder and she never wants to experience that sort of pain again.
Weapon(s)- A pistol and a knife, she pretty much uses anything she thinks can get the job done.
Strengths-
-Her drive. Once she sets her mind to something, she won't let anyone get in her way of accomplishing that goal
-She is very manipulative, using other people's weaknesses to get what she wants.
-Experience. She's gone through a lot in her life, which has not only made her stronger as a person, but has given her experience and skills that some people will never know.
Weaknesses-
-Trust. She isn't one to grant you her trust easily, you have to prove yourself to her before she'll reveal anything too personal about herself.
-Anxiety. She gets herself worked up over tiny things and has a hard time calming herself down.
Fears-
-Contracting the virus
-Loosing her dog, the only thing she has left

History-
Before any of this happened, Evie was the girl who dared to stand out, not caring what other people thought of her. She could be described as an outcast, not really fitting into any specific group, but that was just the way she liked it. She lived happily with her father and two brothers; her mother had died when she was thirteen, the cause still remains unknown.

Her family, along with her life, was slowly torn apart as the plague hit. As family members were killed, it seemed as if the old, bubbly, outgoing Evangeline died along with them.

Personality- Gabriel used to be very quiet and easygoing. It was unlikely that you'll ever see him actually angry. He always seems to be quite cheerful but not in a 'loud' way. He wasn't particularly outgoing, preferring to be unnoticed all the time than the centre of attention. He was very trusting of other people, perhaps too trusting in some cases, and would obey someone unconditionally. He was a medical student and was always dedicated to saving people's loves. Now, after watching most of his patients and family either die or become a zombie, he is somewhat different. Gabriel became a lot more solemn, still wanting to help people but knowing that, most of the time, it would be impossible. He is very intelligent and calculating, one of his best strengths, and is willing to kill if he needs to. Although he will kill, he still has trouble with it sometimes, having spent years obeying the 'do no harm' rule. He can seem strangely naive and still over trusting, preferring to let someone else make decisions. He has some trouble relating to people, not really understanding how to communicate with them. Being originally from France, Gabriel still has a strong accent and sometimes slips into French accidentally.

Strengths- -He is extremely intelligent, technically a genius
-He has extensive medical knowledge, meaning he can patch himself and anyone else up if they get hurt
-Due to his training as a doctor, he's very good at keeping calm in stressful situations
Weaknesses- - He can be far too trusting, getting him into trouble sometimes
- He's not particularly good at communicating with others
- It gets to him far more than it should if someone dies while he was trying to help them

History- Gabriel was originally born in France to a very rich family. His mother, however, suffered from severe depression and killed herself when Gabriel was 10. Gabriel spent the next 7 years being home-shooled by his father, who he had a rather uneasy relationship with. When he was 17 he left France and went to medical school.

Personality- Charlie is a very quiet and shy person. He doesn't ever shout or raise his voice. He is very soft-spoken and although he finds it difficult to actually get close to someone, he's kind to everyone. He's intelligent but he doesn't often show it, preferring to let others make decision. He doesn’t often speak, only when he has something to say. He has a very logical mind and prefers to analyse things from an intellectual point of view, rather than an emotional one. He's a huge bookworm. He is very good at hiding his emotions from others, and what he's really thinking. He always appears cheerful, no matter what he's actually thinking or feeling. Charlie, at first seems harmless but he is extremely cunning. Although he doesn't talk much, he listens to everything. He has an amazing memory and remembers just about everything he sees or hears. He is deceivingly calm and soft-spoken, never seeming to get angry. He is just very good at controlling his emotions: too good, in fact. Charlie finds it quite hard to get close to anyone and it takes years for him to trust one person.

Personality-
Annie is mostly seen as the quiet girl, the one who stays out of trouble and enjoys staying alone in the corner - to others at least. She's in fact a very outgoing girl who likes to have a bit of fun around her friends. She enjoys having a good laugh and making people smile, but sometimes she can have a rough day. Those rough days mean she can be stubborn and hard-headed, not wanting to do what others tell her. She tries to hide both her fear of being alone and her worse moods from her friends, so they will think nothing less of her.
Weapon(s)-
A knife with a silver handle and her initials engraved in the blade, and a semi-automatic pistol.
Strengths-
Annie knows how to get her way at times, which she can use to get places as well. Also, she can at times be stubborn and will continue on working even if she doesn't have to. She is also very friendly, so she doesn't have a problem with making friends and staying out of trouble.
Weaknesses-
From her three fears, her weaknesses are getting on elevators and climbing stairs. Another weakness is the fact thatshe just can't stand people who exclude others or are constantly negative, she finds it hard to stay friends with people like that. Annie refuses to do things first, because she is a follower as well.
Fears-
Annie has a few main fears: Being left on her own, heights and she is claustraphobic. Ever since she moved from her phone she acquired these three fears, and often has to face them yet they don't go away. She is afraid of elevators and very high staircases, and being alone in a house. Another part of her fear of being alone is losing her friends, family or pets.
Pets-
Annetka has two pets, a young dog that is a mix between an Australian Shepherd and a Blue Heeler, and a domestic Bengal cat.
