robin is me, for all intents and purposes. same interests, same personality, same dislikes, even down to the way she conducts her relationships.
loppy, on the other hand. well, he's loki? who i aspire to be LOL no, but sometimes i can be manipulative and have the same destructive and break-everything-my-brother-likes blinding anger fits, so i suppose we're not completely dissimilar. he was originally designed to be me, but robin kind of took that role so he's evolved to be his own. he's become more like me since newt arrived, because he humanises/canine-ises(? x3) him.

Gabe not so much, because he's a fansona. Based off of something I really like...
However Merr and Pix, definitely? I thought that was the entire point to a sona. Something to represent you, aka yourself as an animal. That's why I get a little confused when people just decide that their new character is going to be a sona because it looks nice. No offence but that kind of thinking just confuses me XD
