SunClan's Story [New Thread]

Ashcloud lay limp on the cold ground, her body chilling, with her breathing coming soft and raspy. She was certain she was going to die, but she wasn't afraid. She knew her Clan was safe. She closed her eyes loosely, accepting the fact that she was bound to die alone in the forest, far from camp.

Loudstep yawned. "'Bout time you woke up. I've been waiting for you two to wake up well before dawn." he mumbled, rasping his tongue over a paw and drawing over his ear nonchalantly. His amber eyes looked out at the small glade they were in, the space in it making him miss Skylark even more. But she was coming. She'd be with him in a few days once she caught up, but he didn't tell the others, and was going to act just as surprised as they when Skylark did catch up to them.

( Nothing much... Galestorm's dying since she was taking a fox on one on one. Cedarpaw's looking for the medicine cats to help her. )

On that note, Foxstar returned with Cougarpaw and is reuniting with Pineclaw and Sorreldash. No one knows the StoneClan leader and hopeful apprentice returned except for the other two StoneClan warriors, currently far off in the forest. Pistachio and Sprucepaw are crushing on each other, despite Pistachio running away and Sprucepaw a Medicine Cat. Stonepaw and Cinder are off in the forest as well, alone.

And thats all I know at the moment, or at least can remember. X3 }}

(And Ashcloud is lying the forest dying, but is going to me found by Foxstar, Sorreldash, Pineclaw, and Courgarpaw. Shiverwhisker(the medicine cat) is out breaking down about his dead mate who died in his first Clan before he came to StoneClan and SunClan... He'll be returning soon, though. :P)

Foxstar took a deep breath, regaining her composure. "So. StoneClan is here? How many survivors?" she asked, standing tall and straight. Her bright eyes flicked between Pineclaw and Sorreldash, but neither answered her immediately. A cold breeze hissed through the trees, and Foxstar looked up, her eyes narrowing at the scent carried on it. "You can give me a full report later." she commanded, quickly locating the direction the scent must have come from. "Follow me." With that, she dashed off, following the alarmingly strong scent of fresh blood.

Lightpaw yawned widely, stretching. She blinked at the sun, squinting. It was late, which was strange, as she didn't usually sleep in. The long trek the day before must have tired her more than she'd thought. Unfortunately, she suspected it was far from over. "Well, we should get..." she paused, yawning again. "...going." she continued, giving herself a quick shake in an effort to fully wake herself. Her stomach growled, reminding her that she hadn't eaten for quite some time. "Should we hunt here? Or try to catch something on the way?"

Ashcloud's breathing was slowly grown more shallow and raspier as the time ebbed by, and she could feel her life slipping from her. She wanted to hold on to, to live, but she just didn't have the strength or the energy. Her grey coat was matted with blood and rumpled from the fight. Her icy blue eyes were closed loosely, her mind shooting images of her life through her mind. It was all moving too fast. she couldn't see it. Any of it.

Loudstep wasn't particularly hungry, but he knew he had to eat. "I'd say we hunt while we're here. It'll be easier than keeping moving and trying to hunt at the same time." he meowed, pointing out that fact. His ginger fur ruffled against a chilling breeze, ears flattening to his head. He hated the cold. It annoyed him. His tabby striped seemed to dissipate against his ruffled ginger fur, the white on him making him look like he'd walked through snow.

Cinder was right behind him. She nodded for him to keep going. "It's okay. Just keep going." she mewed over the sounds of the water. She didn't look at the water, knowing it would frighten her, she just kept her mind on what was ahead of her.

Stonepaw
He nodded and stood back up this time walking next to Cinder. He didn't look up from his paws as they walked on for a bit longer. He tummy growled again as he smelled so prey moving in the ferns.
