What is, you feel, the limit you should have on characters to be considered "too many"?
I would say when you prioritize one/a couple over the rest, and no other characters get art, are role played, etc. c:

When you no longer feel a connection to all of your characters, I would say. I have a lot but I find I can still connect to them all individually.

Not really based on numbers. More when you get to the point where you can't treat them all properly.
It depends on the person.
I'm hoping to get my numbers down further than I have, but it'll be hard.

I feel anything over 50 is a bit much. Even 30-40 is a lot.
It's just impossible to treat them all with the same care.
