All about Nannucks
HABITAT
Nannucks live in northeast America in deciduous forests, in areas such as the Adirondacks. They are mostly herbivores but enjoy the occasional small rodent or rabbit, as they have both grinding as well as tearing teeth. Can run up to 45 mph and are not much of swimmers but can swim well when needed. Are not confrontational but will fight for females and territory.
ABOUT
Small around 45" and 80 lbs (around Greyhound- Great Dane size) Canine type animal. A stud may cover a female unlimited times, and a female can be bred up to 5 times and have a still healthy female 6 or 7 occasionally but 7 and up is leaning towards being over bred.
They come in just about every color a horse can, and are usually parti color, they tend to have unique leg barring and darker or lighter outlining color changes. They mature like horses being that they settle down around 5-7 and they become mature at about 10, they live to 20 or so. Bucks are able to breed around 3 years and does 4-5 years, and both are fully grown by 2 years.
Breeding is based of real genetics and parents will pass on patterns or parts of patterns.2-5 pups is usual.
Does can be bred once a month (realtime) however bucks can be bred anytime.
You can keep the pups, gift them, or adopt them out, where you will have final say in who wins.
