What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Treble enjoys listening to synthpop, because it helps him to settle down when he's usually full of energy and raring to go (it also helps with him being somewhat of an insomniac).

Treble is wild and crazy -- or is he? He's a lot more sly than he looks, and enjoys pulling off tricks and pranks, but no one ever expects him because of how he usually acts, very bright, bubbly, and crazy, like the sort of guy who couldn't even think up a good prank. He's very affectionate towards other mutatos, and enjoys having hoards of friends, no matter their breed. However, he's also prone to rages that can take over him at any time, and is easily annoyed.

I chose his name because of music genre Dub-step. When I say all the good names every one else had I thought of music genres and which ones fit him. I came upon Dub-step and it seamed like a very fitting just genre for him and the name Step just seemed to fit right in.
