Don't worry, I was already crying haha no but seriously, I've mostly come to terms with it, but when I found out he was dead I was actually in a very gloomy mood for a couple of weeks. It was almost as if someone real had died and I was mourning; amazing how deep the bonds we create with fictional characters can be, huh?
And how quickly they can be destroyed by Kishi-san too //growls/

I mean, I think Neji's death was one of the most sad for the fandom because he's one of the Konoha 11! He's been a 'character' longer than any character who's died. Kishimoto gave us all a lot of time to fall in love with him or at least develop an attachment.
He's been there for the whole series, Part 1 and Part 2. We 'grew up' with him. We didn't expect him to die, I don't think. I didn't expect him to die. I guess it just grew on me that Kishimoto wouldn't dare permanently kill off one of his precious Konoha 11. We knew people in the war would die but not HIM.
Kishimoto put it in all of our heads now that he has the power to kill off the characters no one expects to die so suddenly. I get a nervous rush whenever I read the chapters with a lot of action because in scared more people i love are going to get slain and I can't do anything about it ;-;

Exactly! I've gotta say that plot-wise it was a smart move since it keeps us on the edge of our seats all the time, but it's heartbreaking nonetheless.

Kishi is just evil. He's awesome, but he's evil. Making us get all attached and lovey-dovey over fake people like that. And then brutally ripping them away from us without a second thought.

((If he kills off Sasuke....there will be h*ll to pay. I promise you that! I don't care what anyone says about Sasuke, i believe he could have been a really kind and sweet person if not for the massacre. I mean, you try having your family killed and see if that doesn't screw you up for life.))
