Without realizing it, Pen and Reva had walked onto one of the sidewalks that ran into the heart of the city. Dozens of little stores lined the various little streets, and for a moment she considered that could go to one of them and maybe meet someone there. It was then she saw that it was actually necessary; there was someone not five yards ahead of them. Pen took note of his tan skin, long white hair, and how he seemed so....calm. So, after a forceful nudge from Reva, she made the decision to go talk to him, or at least say something. After all, she had been trying to get her, Pen, to meet new people since they were in a new place. It was likely he was something supernatural like a wizard and could turn her into a frog if she annoyed him, but she doubted that would happen. So, without further ado, she sat to the right of the tan boy and said, So, you like this fountain?" No sooner had she had said the words that she regretted being able to speak at all. Who asks people of they like fountains? She thought to herself, and then smiled, embarrassed, at the tan boy.

Reva had also seen this white-haired pretty boy, and since she knew that Pen would chicken out and say they find someone else, the wolf nudged her in the shoulder, perhaps a little too hard, and she got the message. Then Pen opened her mouth and talked. As much as she loved her, Pen was not a social person, and couldn't really handle meeting new people. But that's why she had her, Reva, who could handle talking to people. And seeing how Pen looked pretty embarrassed, it was time for some back-up. The copper wolf rolled her eyes, walked forward, then sat herself to the left of the boy. "What my friend means is," Reva said, looking him in the eye, "that do you come by here often? We're new, and we need someone to show us around."
