Star kicked Jack and yelped when he threw a dagger at her stomach. Donnie jumped in and kicked back Jack. He stabbed him in the stomach and watched him run off. He turned to Star and caught her when she fell. "D-Donnie?" Star stammered. "Yeah.." Donnie murmered. "It- its dark.." She coughed. "I know, Star. But it'll be lighter soon." Donnie assured, or at least tried. "This is like when we first met. You saved me, but after I closed my eyes I got to open them again." Star said and closed her eyes. Donnie held Star's hand and winced, then let out a relieved sigh when she opened them again. Donnie picked up Star and took her to the lair.
