ＡＳＨＥＮ ＷＯＯＤ
The Ashen Wood Pack lies in the heart of the wilderness, the territory covering most of the surrounding forest and a large piece of the mountainous region. The pack has lived in these woods for ages, reigning as the kings of the forest. There was no one else to challenge them, until now. A small pack of wolves in search of a new territory decided that they wanted a part of the Ashen Wood Pack's territory for themselves, and they were ready to fight for it.

ＡＳＨＥＮ ＷＯＯＤ ＷＯＬＶＥＳ

The Ashen Wood Wolves have thrived in their territory for many countless generations without facing a rival pack. The land that surrounds them they have not had to protect and the idea of borders has never been something necessary for them. They roam the forests and mountains freely without worry of intruders.

The Ashen Wood Wolves are normally light colored wolves. On the rare occasion that a dark wolf is born, it is usually banished from the pack out of fear. Dark wolves are looked down upon and thought to be evil because of their 'unnatural' fur color. Usually when a mother gives birth the alpha female will check to assure that no pups are dark wolves. Hiding them is pointless because they have an unusual scent that is easily recognizable. The mother of a dark wolf will usually flee out of fear for her deformed pup before the alpha female even comes to check.

Ashen Wood Wolves are very hostile towards strange wolves. They do not like intruders and can be very greedy. When an intruder is found it is usually killed. The Ashen Wood Pack territory has no set limits so the pack will chase an intruder until it can no longer run. Despite their brutal attitude towards strangers, the Ashen Wood Wolves are very caring towards each other. They are a family pack and will die to protect each other.

Dakota has yet to choose a mate
or even a crush. She has found that
finding someone suitable to both
her and the title Alpha Male is a
difficult task. She has no crush
and doesn't know when or if she
ever will.
ＦＡＭＩＬＹ
Dakota's parents, Anya and Topaz,
are both deceased. Her only sister,
Marge, might still be alive, but
Dakota hasn't seen her in two years.
ＦＲＩＥＮＤＳ Dakota attempts
to be friends with as many wolves
as possible and tries to draw close
to all her pack-mates. Still, there
has yet to come a wolf who she can
call a true and close friend. However,
there is one wolf whom she feels
comfortable with, despite the oppos-
ition of some pack members. Dakota
invited Exodus to join her pack even
though his darker coat was somewhat
problematic for some of the pack.
Dakota is one of the few who wolves
who have put trust in him.
ＥＮＥＭＩＥＳ Most wolves outside
of the pack aren't friends to her, and
all wolves of the Hollow Hills pack
are wolves she considers enemies.

Call him Blitzen. Call him Zen. Call him Blitz. This light-hearted brute couldn't care less.

Blitzen derived from a functional pack, seemingly a rarity now a days. He was the son of the Beta pair, born along with two sisters. His Mother and Father were usually extremely busy with their duties, leaving him and his siblings in the arms of a the pack. Zen spent his days entertaining his sisters, meanwhile developing an extremely light-hearted personality. They grew up closer than normal, sneaking out of camp late (despite Blitzen's protests) and giggling about stupid things. Simply no secrets were had between the three wolves, more so friends than family. It wasn't just Blitzen, or Clover. Or even Ivy. It was Blitzen, Clover and Ivy. The inseparable.

The time came that one of the three needed to take the position of Beta. They didn't fight or scream or growl, they sat down and had a discussion. It was obvious that Ivy wanted it the most, so Zen and Clover stepped back. She did a wonderful job, finding a mate, leading the pack through a successful winter. Blitzen couldn't have been prouder. When the Alpha fell ill, Ivy took the position, and Blitzen and Clover beamed from the sidelines. Ivy's mate hated them, though. He scolded them when they went out late like old times, and eventually they became less and less important. Clover and Blitzen grew closer when they lost a member of the trio. Ivy wasn't anything but a sister anymore.

Clover became restless, she'd had enough of Ivy and her demanding mate. She raved about exploring the world, starting a pack of her own. Blitzen listened thoughtfully, nodding his head slowly. She'd leave the next day. Blitzen smiled through tears, chirping words of advice as she said her final goodbyes. He watched as Clover walked away from their childhood home, looking at Ivy for any sign of emotion. She was indifferent. And then there was one, he thought to himself, yearning for the days when the trio lived. A part of him died when Ivy became cold, and now a part of him was leaving with Clover. Blitzen felt empty.

So, the next day he set off in the opposite direction, silent through the night. Zen searched desperately for a way to be enough for himself. He sharpened his skills, becoming excellent at hunting. Blitzen was always well-fed, and enjoyed carrying a bone of his most recent prey around with him. He went on his journey to find who he was, to understand that it was okay to be alone. To be an individual. As hard as it was for him, he let go of his past. He let go of the looming parts of Ivy and Clover like a balloon through the air. Although the two pricked his thoughts often, it was in fondness, not desire. Blitzen was finally an individual.

Now, he's light-hearted and wise, fatherly. Blitzen will listen to your concerns, always having good advice prepared when you need it. A part of him hopes that he'll meet Clover again, but perhaps that's a ridiculous thought. Now, he's focused on his pack life. He's in the Ashen Wood Pack, with his rank as the Beta. Life is good.
