the city of ember thing wouldn't really be just a roleplay concept, it'd actually take place in the city of ember. what i'm thinking is that they all are twelve and about to choose their careers. some could be happy with theirs while others aren't. then there would be added tension plus the whole blackout fiasco - it would be more of a character development roleplay then an escape roleplay although the egress stuff could be a side plot if you will

I haven't read the book recently enough to do this. :c I barely remember any of the jobs names or the city design.

no worries! i'm planning on making the character slots based on the jobs [i've got the book to refer to] anyways so you could potentially participate if you wished. and i'm going to search up a map anyways and dictate where the characters would frequent.

I've honestly been thinking about stopping roleplaying. I mean... it's great and all, but I just... don't feel up to it anymore. :/ So... yeah, this is just kind of a heads-up for anyone I'm in a 1x1 with, here. And people on my HP roleplay. Group roleplays I'm in probably don't have to worry... I'd feel guilty if I stopped showing up for those.... >.<

I just don't remember enough of the specifics to pull it off in the actual city. :c I don't think I've read the book since middle school & my new library doesn't have it, so I'd be relying on internet sources and IDK I'm awkward and I'd screw it up somehow. XD

Favorite type of RP: I suppose wolf roleplays got me 'into' roleplaying, but I have participated in many 'types' of roleplays. If I had to choose, it would probably be the old standard of wolves, though roleplays about humans with some kind of modification are always fun.

Ash's face went blank as the fae approached, and he felt her tail tickle his chin. If he were a lesser wolf, an idiot, or untrained, he would have lowered his jaws to remove the limb from the fae's body. He wanted to recoil from her touch, to lash out at her for daring to do so. But his face didn't twitch. She was taunting him, and he wasn't going to fall for such an obvious ploy to get a rise out of him. At the risk of sounding arrogant, he knew he was smarter than that. He'd grown up with sisters. All of which were constantly attempting to do that very thing. But it was in Ash's nature to be patient and in his training to think about his responses before he implemented anything. Ash was a strategist. He was a thinker. An oddball. In this fae's case, he figured that no response would be the best response.

He questioned her motives. She was flirting with him, but not in a friendly way, he supposed. She was a loner. He was a pack wolf. Her eyes were bright, but her mind was not, and any who fell for this were idiots. In his mind, he chuckled a little, knowing that depending on his alpha's state of mind, he would probably have at least bristled and snapped at the fae the moment her fur touched his. He didn't tolerate transgressions like that. "Why are you here?' He repeated, his tone, volume, and emphasis identical to his question moments before. He didn't bat an eye, just continued on as if the fae hadn't moved, but hadn't heard his question. He responded to her question in his head, though, mapping out a strategy on fighting her, if it came to that.

Unknown wolves were most exciting to fight, in Ash's opinion. Split-second decisions were coupled with analysis of fighting styles and possible weaknesses. He knew the terrain, was nimble, and well-trained. Three advantages that he had. His legs were thin and easily broken. A disadvantage. She was tall, almost as tall as he was, but she was bulky, with well defined muscles. In many cases, this meant that Ash would be quicker and more nimble. This would be an advantage for him on the quick side, but a strength battle would be bad. It was always possible that she was fast as well, but it depended on the individual wolf, and Ash would have to figure that out if it came to fighting her. He remembered a battle in which he'd wrongly judged his opponent, and had been beaten badly as a result- ending up with a great respect for that wolf as a teacher. She'd been a tiny healer, and one of his father's few friends. Ash regarded the fae in front of him, waiting again for her response. He was patient. Always patient. He could do this all day if he had to.

Anyone know of and would be interested in a D.Gray-Man/Skyrim crossover plot? >w> Group or 1x1 is fine
I've been hit by recent inspiration XD
Basic details and character roles/changes would be as follows:

• Summary: Allen Walker, an unusual albino teen, is apprenticed to an aristocrat in the city of Solitude, running fetch-errands and being sold out to entertain at special parties and festivities as a popular Jester. The sudden assassination of his Master and a mysterious threatening letter left behind leaves him wondering as to the culprit, and sends him looking for answers.(I have two fanfiction chapters up, trying to get the third, that more or less sets the starting point of the roleplay, that I'll provide through PM if someone has interest)
• Pretty much nixing the dragons and Dragonborn plot(though I'm fine with an occasional dragon or two just to mix things up), and the civil war between the Empire and the Stormcloaks. So those won't be happening.
• Cross Marian owns Proudspire Manor in Solitude, and is close to the same as the anime/manga in terms of making Allen work and bring in money for him & pay off debts. Allen is apprenticed to him.
• Allen is mostly the same. Only difference being no anti-Akuma weapon. Still has a deformed arm.
• Komui is the Jarl/High King of Solitude in the Blue Palace.
• I'm interested in playing Lavi for certain(as I'm relatively good at playing him and he's my favorite XD). I'm fine to play Allen, Kanda, Lenalee, or anyone else my RP partner doesn't want to play. I have general roles and classes already figured out for many of the characters as far as where they'd best fit going by DGM cannon.
• I'm fine with my partner playing OC's
• Want a partner that's semi-active(couple days out of the week at least), and preferably has an Iwaku account, but the location of the RP can be negotiated.
• Not going to be a huge stickler about post length, just make sure it has good grammar and spelling.
• I have a vague idea of where the plot is headed, but I'm fine with and a little plot-building from my partner is encouraged.
