Maned Kaiopi's are solitary creatures and mate for life, they can survive in most habitats and usually stay away from humans, They are omnivores but usually eat meat. Male Kaiopi's usually have horns and it is very rare to see one without a mane. Maned Kaiopi teens usually leave their parents once they become almost as tall as their parents, female Kaiopi's usually give birth to only two cubs though they can have more, it is EXTREMELY rare for a mother to have more than three cubs
