Minttail sat on the egde of the creek, she hated water but didnt care now if her paws were wet or not. She did her best not to cry.

Shadowclaw breathed deeply. He had no clue what to do.

Cougarscar was in camp when he saw minttail speed past him. She was heading in the direction of the creek. He wondered what was wrong. He followed her silently

"Shadowclaw?" Dogtooths voice echoed in the darkness of the elders den.

Minttails tears dripped softly into the creek.

Shadowclaw sniffed and cleared his throat.
"Yes?" He said in a extremely scratchy voice.

Cougarscar walked up to monorail
"So how come you have been lying to me?" He said in a sad kind of tone.

"Geez you sound Awful, what happened?" Dogtooth meowed padding over to him.

Minttail turned around "Huh?"

Shadowclaw looked down and covered the pool of tears.
"Nothing.. it's fine."He lied.

Cougarscar looked up at her.
"You heard me." He said.

"Shadowclaw..im not a mousebrain...i can tell a lie. What happened?" Dogtooth meoeed licking his tears away.

Minttail looked at him "What do you mean?"She asked.

"why do you care?" He said in a angry tone.

Cougarscar chuckled a little.
"You keep saying that your fine but have you seen yourself lately? You look awful.. What happened?l he asked and sat by her.

Minttail looked back at the river "I dont wanna talk about it."

Shadowclaw looked up at her.
"I'm really sorry. It's not your problem and I should not take it out on you... I'm sorry." He said looking at the ground again.

Cougarscar Sat there looking at the stream.
"I won't tell anyone you know... I am here to help. I care about you you know." He said after a minute of silence.
