||The Athlete||

Name: It surprises me how many people know my name, even though I don't recall ever talking to them before. It makes me wonder if people talk behind my back sometimes. That doesn't surprise me one bit. Anyway, my name is Aiden Roy Lusck. Most people call me Luscky though. Why you ask? I'm generally a lucky person, and Lusck kinda sounds like luck. So there you have, the nickname Luscky. I like it though, it sounds cool and it's unique. Which everyone needs in high school, being unique is hard to come by. My name came from my grandfather, his name was Aiden too. I never met him though, he died when I was two from brain cancer.

Age: There's not a lot I can say here. I'm 17, and I'm a senior. Which means I'm one of the younger kids in my grade. Actually I'm not, I just haven't had my birthday yet. It's coming soon though, October 12th to be exact. A lot of people say I look younger than I really am, which makes some sense to me. They say I look 15, I can see that. Looking younger than I am is perfectly okay with me. When everyone else is all old, I'll still look young. Well, not really. Seeing as I look two years younger, I don't see that making much of a difference when we're 80.

Gender: Seriously?Should I even have to answer this? In case you still haven't figured it out, I'm a guy. A male if you don't know that guy generally means male.

Origin: I'm a winter guy through and through, seeing as I'm from Minnesota. This is why the first sport I joined was hockey, I love the cold and everything about winter. A typical winter afternoon back home included: Meeting up with my friends, going sledding, some hockey, and snowball fights. You know, Minnesota isn't all cold and snow. The summers here are actually quite hot, suprising as it may be. There are very few summers days there that dip below 90°. So, in addition to loving the cold, I also grew up with a love for heat. That meant swimming, biking, running, baseball, and just hanging out with friends in the summer. Getting a cone of ice cream after a long, summer day was a great way to tie both loves together. Even though we moved after my dad's job got transfered, I will never forget where I can from. Minnesota, home of the scorching summer days and the freezing winter evenings.

Sexual Orientation: Yet again I say, there isn't a lot I can say here either. I'm straight. Always have been, and probably always will be. I've never been the slightest bit interested in any boy, even though I have 2 brothers. I had a friend who was once, but he moved after the school year. Never knew where he went, he never knew he was moving until like a week before it happened. Anyway, interested in girls. Nothing else.

Looks: On to my looks I guess, I think I'll start with my hair. My hair's OK I guess. It's not short, but not long. You could say shaggy. It's a meduim brown, an ordinary, plain color. It looks just like it does in the photo of me, that was taken 4 months ago by a friend. On to my height now. I'm 5'11, just like my dad. I'm OK with my height; It's not too short, and not too tall. My dad says I'm done growing, he stopped growing at this age too. I weigh around 120 lbs, I'm OK with that too. Now that I think about it, I can't think of anything about me that I hate. Well, there is one thing... I'll tell you about that later. I'm in pretty good shape, considering the number of sports I'm in. Hockey, baseball, football, and I've done track before. Hockey is my priority though. People say my eyes are my most stunning feature. They're ice-blue with flecks of sea-green throughout them. I have my mom's eyes, and my grandfather's eyes. A lot of the girls I've dated have said that they were the first thing people noticed about me. I wouldn't know about that though, I don't normally talk to people about that though. It's not something that normally comes up in my conversations.

Personality: Ah, this is where things get a little bit... Complicated. This isn't something I normally share, so I might not explain these well. Bear with me though. I guess you could say I'm a nice guy to most people; although I guess I shouldn't really say only good things here. I have a learn disability. Dyslexia. That's why I took up sports, something to take my mind off school I guess. My parents say I should spend more time focusing on school. Of course I didn't listen to them. Why should I? All my parents care about is my older brother Greg. I don't talk to Greg much now. He's twenty-three, and goes to Harvard. He's a total jerk, and just because he's smart. The funny thing is that he completely sucks at sports. Every last one. This is one thing I hold over my brother, but my parents don't care about that though. All they care about is school, school, and more school. So, I have a jerk for a brother, and parents who don't care about me. Great family I guess. Everyone knows I have Dyslexia, but unlike my parents, they don't care. My friends like me for me, and that's all I really care about. I let go of the grudge I held against my family a long time ago, and I just avoid them now. So, I guess that's all about my personality.

History: My history isn't very long, and it isn't very interesting. I was born in this town, and so was my brother. Actually, my while family is from here now that I think about it. Even though they've lived here their whole lives, that doesn't mean that I want to. The very thought of staying in this town the rest of my life makes me cringe. We visited New York once. Now that is somewhere I coupd live. Back on topic now. The biggest thing that I can think that I should mention is that my grandfather died when I was ten. This might not seem like a big deal to you, but to me it was devastating. I was very close to him, he was the person I'd go talk to if I ever had a problem. He was the person who made me laugh when I was having a rough day. He was the one who helped me out on my homework when no one else would, no matter how long it took. And that's saying something, considering it takes me a while to finish my homework. His house was right across from our's, which made it easy to see him everyday. I've never figured out how he died. Nobody even bothered to tell me. So all these years, I've just gone with old age whenever someones asked me about it. A lot of people do.

j u s t a n i n t r o d u c t i o n ✦ Davie Park, he never really had any nicknames in his life besides Dave...which isn't that popular either. He is 18 years old, born on August 2nd and never says no to having fun. Davie is an only child, living with both his mother, father and sweet dog Daisy, who he was hesitant to leave behind, but he won't be gone for too long, so a polaroid picture he stuffs in his wallet of him and his dog together is what he has to live by for now. As for his mother and father, they're good too, although it is a relief to take the weight off his shoulders and relax for a while, seeing that although they are kind and loving, his parents can be rough and strict at most times, driven with high expectations for their only child when it comes to grades, manners, his future, there's too much really...

i n t h e p i c t u r e ✦ Even being an academically-focused student as himself, Davie never leaves the door without checking the mirror, he isn't obsessed with his looks, he just wants to make sure he doesn't rock up to class one day in a pair of bright-orange short-shorts and a rainbow turtle neck. He isn't too tall, estimating at about 175-180cm in height and not stricken with the muscley-guy look either, his parent's don't really encourage their son participating in athletic events or going to the gym, but seeing that he isn't too interested in them either, Davie doesn't mind, he's okay with his thin body (and although it's his secret, he has a bit of a belly). He has typical black hair and brown, asian-like eyes. His eyesight isn't the best, so he is often wearing glasses or contacts and is usually seen wearing stuff like long t-shirts, fancy backpacks, skinny jeans, caps and well, that's enough to get the gist of it.

o n t h e i n s i d e ✦ Davie was always a conscious and careful, he hated letting people down, especially when it came to his parents. Shame is one of his worst fears and he can't live with it, once he's guilty of something it could come to the point where he just can't sleep. Being disliked is something he didn't particularly fond of either, so he constantly socialized with people, although was always careful with his words. He was never the daredevil, doing things above his ability had always scared him, so it was a good target for messing with him in a good old truth or dare game. Actually he's a good target for anything when it came to teasing and playing friendly pranks, being his gullible self who doesn't enjoy rejecting others. Sometimes he gets sick of people teasing him, but he isn't strong enough to show it, so he's grown to master the ability of fake-laughing ever since he was a child.
Davie isn't particularly the healthiest kid either, he lives with asthma and doesn't have the strongest immune system, he was always getting sick as a child and has never gone a year without visiting the hospital, it is getting better overtime though and most certainly has improved far more compared to when he was a child.

i n t h e p a s t ✦ Living as a only child, live was a bit rough, but liveable. His parents would constantly urge him to study and he had hardly any free time up until even now. But to his relief they were never abusive, quite the opposite actually, everyone got along and they were a loving family, just lacking in the understanding part. They moved houses a lot, so he never got time to gain any friends, life was quite lonely, and when he thinks he gets a new buddy, there off to moving again, he did end up making a few companions and kept in touch through social-networking sites though. It was all confusing as a kid, but over-time he learnt to get used to it. At least he had a few consoles and computer games to keep him busy. When he was 16, Davie finally convinced his parents to buy him a pet, they went to the local pet store during the week and purchased a Yorkshire Terrier he named Daisy, she was the greatest friend he could ever have and has hardly gone a day without her.
