Rosetta ZoranneMood: Curious and oddly...careful
With:The equid who failed to introduce himself and...someone else
Crush:No one yet
There were two of them now, two short stallions standing together. They must know each other, she figured. The newcomer sure is chatting like he is familiar with the other. She could feel a certain air about this other equid that suggested he wasn't like he who she first met. This one was more exciting and fun. Not like the other at all. That was how she felt, it seemed like his personality was coming through the air to her in waves, but she did not even know if he truly was like that.
She moved a forehoof forward, wanting to approach. But something refused to let her move any closer.
She blinked several times, pausing a moment to look down at her hoof. What was going on? She had never had any problem approaching other equids, never had her hooves been slowed from greeting.
Her nostrils flared as she caught his scent. He smelled wet, first and foremost, but there was more just beneath the smell of running water. He smelled of the sweet grass that filled the land and of the occasional warm breeze and of...something else that she could not quite place. Probably something unique to him. Whatever it was, the scent gave her a sense of warmth. She could not decipher whether it was a baked warmth or fiery warmth, however. Perhaps she would find out. She flicked an ear thinking that if the equid she had been speaking with had anything to do with it, she would probably never know.
This equid, shorter but her age, was lighter in color than her. At least his body was. Even in the darkness she could see that. But, his head was a darker color, a pattern she had never seen before. And then the little bit of white on his coat glowed the way white furs do in darkness. And seeing this odd looking coloration that was new to her, she couldn't help but giggle. He looked funny to her, very different, and she could not refrain from murmuring, "Clown"
Though, after it was out, she felt herself plunged into another warmth, one of intense embarrassment.
