Sawyer carefully turned her head, squinting from the sudden sharp flood of light. She blinked once, twice, until she could finally see again. In her line of sight was the figure of the boy in the resturaunt, bending over her. He was black against the bright sun, his outline making Sawyer realize just how muscular he really was, for a diner boy. She narrowe dher ice blue gaze, and pinched her lips tightly together, blood staining the cracks of her chapped lips. Her spiked white hair was now tainted by scattered red flecks of blood. What Tobias had first admitted made Sawyer groan softly, rolling her eyes and humoring him for the time. She found his reasoning pretty straight and simple, easy to understand.

Sawyer closed her eyes, taking the small time of silene to collect her thoughts. She didn't know why, but this Loyal didn't start beating her to a pulp, in fact, neither had. They didn't scream and run away from her either, or call her insane. The Loyal she had spoken to was the first one that had given her some unexplainably small fleck of hope, hope that, maybe Richard's horrible reign could come to a screeching hault. But this was thinking ahead, something that Sawyer had found to be, unuseful, in her life. Instead, she opened her eyes again to the sound of his voice, and barely looked up at him.

The blonde felt like some God had certainly blessed her. She was sure, that had any other Loyal found her, and knew of what she just did, she would be thrown into a cellar for the rest of her short life. Although, Sawyer was never one to say thank you, for that showed a certain amount of trust, and that, she couldn't offer, not quite yet. Instead, she remained silent. It was what the boys Boss said that made Sawyer truly amazed. She looked around, her iceblue orbs slowly widening. Her lips moved, but she couldn't find the right words. It turned out, words weren't neccessary, for before she could thank him. All Sawyer could manag was a vigorous, overwhelmed nod of her head, feeling respect towards this man, a Loyalist.

When Tobias spoke at Sawyer with a stern voice, she turned her gaze back to him. Her respect was gone now, and the rebellious glint was replaced in her ice blue orbs. "Well-Er-" She hated it when people helped her, but at the moment, being hard headed would get her no where, or in a prison cell. Sawyer made a low, agitated snarl before she nodded sharply in agreement,"F-Fine!"

Suddenly, a loud buzzing filled Sawyer's ear drums. She paused, her eyes squinted, and her jaw slack as she tried to focus on the noise. Sawyer knew what that was, her eyes widened, and she growled slightly,"A Raid, at this time? When I get back, I swear," She grumbled, clearly not pleased to be part of a Raid. Every one of her comrades knew she took this time to search for her lost brother, but of course, they went on without her. Sawyer would definitely make sure each of them had a taste of her fists. But, Sawyer quickly snapped out from her short rant, and turned to the two men unsurely. Both were Loyals. With Tobias's help, she stood, and met each of their eyes seriously, knowing the matter of the situation. "Old man, Waiter," she said, having not learned either of their names yet,"The Resistance is running a Raid." Her voice was strong, and she looked them in the eyes,"We offer people a chance to escape. To run from Richard. But, since you've helped me, I won't ask you to come if you don't want. We only want people to help us, to help us fight for a better world." Sawyer said with a certain level of seriousness, then smirked"But as a Resistance, you don't have to go if you don't want. But if you don't, then we need to go to one of your houses." She said, her ice blue orbs shaded. She forced herself to rememeber that trusting someone wasn't worth the troubles. Her lips faded into a thin line, and her eyes narrowed, showing that her moment of trust was coming to a quick end.

"Williams, m'dear." Tobias' boss had said, a small and quick smile appearing then disappearing on his face. He gave his glasses another quick adjustment, and listened to Sawyer. The man cleared his throat, his hand balled up into a fist to cover his mouth. "Well, you're in no position to go join them...are you?" He raised an eyebrow at her, referring to her injuries she had suffered when the men beat her. Williams had no idea if she'd go ahead and join in are their raid. He had common sense, enough to know her injuries limited her, but he wondered if she'd try again to fight against her injuries. "I think you might want to rest here for awhile...if possible." Williams eyed Tobias, giving him a certain look in which Tobias just nodded to, the two talking mentally in a sense.
Tobias had no words to say, he emitted nary a sound from his lips. He just stood, looking towards his boss. He really couldn't think of anything to say, and he knew it'd probably be best to stay quiet. His blonde hair had changed positions multiple times by now, leaving him with a mess of locks on his head. He'd have to smooth it out later, of course, and push it out of his face. It was still sort of following how he fixed it for work when he got up this morning, except a tad bit more unruly by now.

[[ ∀υґƴη Ẍї◎ღαґ@

Auryn watched him intently, keeping her focus. When he looked down at his arm, she thought of her date herself. She'd live a short time probably compared to how she'd live naturally, but there were people who would lead far shorter lives. Even though she hated the thought of having her death date chosen for her, she was at least grateful she had enough time to help out the Resistance. It was the only sorta positive thing she could think of when she looked at her wrist, the ebony ink telling her and reminding her she would die when someone had told her to.
"Well, maybe you were with the Resistance at a point in time. Who knows?" Auryn shrugged casually, as if it were an everyday thing to think you might have been a part of the rebel group. "All I know is...they're having a raid right about now." She said these words a bit reluctantly upon hearing a buzzing noise in her ear. Ah, raids...she wasn't quite sure if she could participate in this one, but it'd be rewarding to at least win someone over fully and completely. Whether that'd happen today, in the future, or not at all was a mystery, but giving it a try wouldn't hurt too much.

Tarance~

Tarance looked at her. He had been touching his arm, and looking at his wrist a lot. He threw his arm down, pretending to have never been looking at his wrist in the first place. He looked into her eyes "I really wish I knew if I was or not" he said calmly. "Do you know anyone on the resistance?" he asked hopfully. If she did, maybe they could tell if he had been a part with them or not. "A raid you say?" he heard of them, but never actually saw one taking place. How would she know if there was a raid taking place now? he twisted his face a little trying to think. Was she part of the resistance? Was that the only thing she wasn't telling him? He had so many questions, each important, and each he was desperate to know the answer to. He was thinking if she was part of the resistance. Maybe he would join, then he wouldnt have to pretend to love the governement and all the other Loyaltys. He could finally be himself. Or what he thought was being like himself. He just died to know if he could somehow remember everything. Would it be better to know everything though?

Sawyer managed to drag her body up, now sitting at an akward angle. Her ice blue orbs flickered behind Tobias and his boss, aiming to the screaming people, crowds flooding to building and homes. Her eyes hardened like stone, and she remembered exactly why she never wanted to be around others, around people that could care. Her lips pinched into a thin line as she spotted a few of her comrades, trying to reason with the screaming Loyalists, and in that moment, her ears must have stopped functioning. All she could heard was the dull crescendo of screams. The girl knew Williams was talking, but she let her blue eyes distance themselves, and fade back into a different time.

Sawyer reput herself in a snow wonderland, the wind, and snow like ice shards cutting into her cheeks and and finger tips. She could remmeber how cold it was, adn she could rememebr seeing the dark outline of whom she took as her father, being swallowed in the white hurricane. The blizzard had been fierce, and one that Sawyer just wouldn't forget, not matter how young she had been. She could remmebr hearing her mother screaming in a pitch that could rip out a childs heart, as it did to Sawyer. The same when she was shoved into a barrel of grain, and forced to listen to her older brothers crys of terror. All of which were nightmares, the horrors of her past.

The blonde slowly retreated from the memory, her body rigid, and frozen. Instead, she found herself staring blankly out at the crowding people, and felt their fear fuel her anger. Completely ignoring Tobias's boss, Sawyer began to push herself up, climbing blindly, her body shaking fiercely. Once on her feet, all the girl could manage was to ignore the pain that clearly disabled her. But with her eyes shading over, and becoming dark she hissed lowly,"I don't understand any of you Loyals." Her voice leaked with an unseeable venom,"Why can't you see it?! Why can't you see that Richard is preventing all of you from having a life. He's restricting you, and creating a life from you!" Sawyer snarled and looked back at Tobias, then to the crowd, where the Rebels tried to show reason and chance to escape this crude life. To watch the Loyals, to see how they could be so kind, it made Sawyer sick. They were programmed to act like they did, they were truely robots with recreated memories that weren't completely their own.

Though, Sawyer apparently had no real self worth. She had pride, and something to fight for, but that was it, she would die trying to finish it. She had to find Daniel, but that, at the moment, was porbably impossible, so she decided that the Resistance needed her help. She pushed herself to the point of destruction, to the point that her body was trying to pull her down. She felt like the musles in her arms and legs were replaced with lead. But Sawyer didn't care, she focused her energy, one foot in front of the other. The Rebelgasped in pain, a scream trying to rip out from her throat, but she bit it back. Sawyer moved over the wall of an old brick building, and pressed her body weight against it. Her eyes were clouded in pain, in memory before she screamed at the crowd, and sounded like someone was trying to kill her as she did, angry and lost,"Why are you all so blind?! Your being robbed of your freedom! None of you know! You don't understand!" Flashes from her life of the Resistance played like an old silent movie behind her eyes, but instead of it beng silent, it was filled with the sound of laughter, and a sound that Sawyer had made on her own. The sound of a proud group of people, of outcasts, and misfits. A family.

The girl lost her footing in her rant, and slipped to her knees. She bent over and screamed at anyone who could hear,"None of you know what it's like to fight to see a new day! To see the true light instead of some man made light bulb! All Richard is a child with crayons! He colors in the missing holes in your memory! If you all knew! You would fight with us!" She began to punch the pavement, furious with everything. She didn't realize that Tobias was watching, and Williams. In fact, Sawyer couldn't care less.

Dove listened to Cassidy's negative replies, rocking back and forth on his feet. Bored, he stopped and sighed. He was about to tell her how she really should be nice because he was helping her, when he heard faint footsteps.
"Told you," he said, the footsteps getting louder. "They always will come. And it's pretty hard to outrun five people determined to catch you." His ran his hands through his hair, making dust fly into the air. At work, his job wasn't the hardest, but you always collected dust and muck working in the factories. Her next words made his eyebrows rise. Was she asking for help?
"Why would I help you? Obviously you won't give me my wallet back, you'll run off before I get it. I'm not an idiot." Dove shook his head, muttering things like 'silly' and 'no respect'. I mean really, she was a theif.

Just like before, her caramel gaze flickers aroud. Still nowhere for a hasty exit. Her fingers grasp the wallet tightly, pressing into the corse leather. The wallet is apart of her survival, or it's work in a factory. Cassidy hadn't even thought about that as an option. She looks at disorderly brown, then slides her gaze to the wallet.
    “Fine, take your wallet!”
Her voice is wired with frustration as she heaves to wallet at disorderly brown, aiming the hard throw for his chest. The concrete is cold and hard, as Cassidy sits down resting her head in her hands, from the stress and a sign she's going to give up. She does.
“Why should I try to escape?”
Cassidy asks the retortical question, maybe aimed at disorderly brown, but really, no-one in particular.
“Well, maybe we are all idiots- there are more people like me living on the streets. Just because we don't want to work in those horrid factories!”
She jumps to her feet and glares down disorderly brown. Her filthy hands shaking with anger.
“Go, take your wallet and leave. Just make sure you're comfortable when they come and get me.”
Finally deafeted, her gaze drops to the ground and she turns around - her back to disorderly brown.

Tobias could only watch her, listen to her. What she said made something swell up within him, something he couldn't quite understand. A dull little pain started in his head that bothered him greatly. He was so confused. What she said made him feel different, it made him feel the need to break. He was busy convincing himself it was just the spur of the moment, which really wasn't the reason. But, he had a enough of standing there and just watching.
"Stop." He said sternly, walking up behind her as she beat the ground, as well as her fists. "I mean really, why hurt yourself more than you already are?" Tobias just stood there, looking down at her. The pain in his head...he felt it get sharp here and there. He crossed his arms over his chest and bit into his lip. He didn't know if his pain was apparent or not to her, nor did he care too much if it was.
"You're trying to convince them of something they'll never believe. Besides, believing is painful..." His voice shrank into a murmur towards the end of his words, and his eyes darted away towards Williams. Tobias shifted his weight, looking rather uncomfortable. "What you're saying doesn't make sense, yet it does. You're giving me a headache with your words."

"Do I know anyone? Hmm, maybe. And yes, a raid. I could take you to view it yourself, if you'd like." Auryn offered, smiling a little, a twinkle in her eyes. She calmly cracked her knuckles in a attempt to make them feel less tense and release some tension. She stepped closer to him, as if walking to an old friend she hadn't seen in awhile. Her hand rested on his shoulder lightly, her eyes looking into his. "You can just say I heard it around from Resistance members," Auryn said casually. "I just thought it'd be an interesting thing to see. Come with?" She removed her hand from his shoulder, raising an eyebrow and waiting for his response. Inside, she hoped for a yes. It'd make this easier for the two of them.

Sawyer did stop, and she felt a hot, white flash of anger welling inside of her. What the hell did she have to do? what needed to be done to make those Loyals believe them? She slumped where she was crumpled on the sidewalk, choking as pain erupted from her side. She stretched it too far, making one of her broken ribs worse than it needed to be. Sawyer tried pushing herself up, but her arms trembled as she started coughing harshly into the scarf again. Coughing harder and harder, it sounded, and felt like she was just going to hrow up, but she forced herself to stop before it got that far.

With a low voice, the loathesome girl seemed to spit acid at Tobias's question, like he wasn't smart. like he was some sort of idiot, but it was intentional, her emotions were simply getting the best of her.

"Why?!" Sawyer spat, as laughter bubbled in her. she chuckled weakly, using her fingers to run them through her hair, trying again to push herself up. Pain made stars dance in her vision, but she didn't stop trying. She was pushing her body, exerting herself. "Because all of you don't have the gall to believe- to fight for yourselves. We're doing it to help! And every single one of you stupid loyals think were maniac terrorists!" She cried out, sick to her stomach once the truth came out.

The snowy blonde barely got to her hands and knees before she started coughing again, more violently. She gasped, again and again, trying to catch air, but she was coughing too hard, suffocating herself. Desperate, Sawyer reached up and grabbed her chest, this time, the coughing wouldn't cease.

Sawyer's heard started spinning, and her chest screamed in pain. it felt like a fire was set loose on her lungs, burning her out from the inside. -No! Stop! She begged, squeezing her ice blue eyes shut tightly. She fell into the pavement and curled up, her face red and purple now. The illness was only getting worse. The pain from the beating and the illness was causing her stamina to fall out without any mercy.

On a normal day, Sawyer may have shown consideration to Tobias' injured jaw. But at the moment, her mind was a little distracted. she honestly thought that she was going to die then and there. Her throat was swelling shut, or at least, it felt like it. She clawed at her skin desperately and coughed even more violently than before as she whimpered,"I just wanted to save you all from his brain control. I wanted to save my brother." She coughed, hating the vunerable feeling that filled her as she was forced into a corner, and now acted like a dog, sticking it's tail between it's legs.

Thouhg, when Tobias kept on talking, sawyer desperately tried to listene, even if her body was failing her. Crumbling from inside. She coughed weakly as her cheeks became flush with an evident fever. Her eyes were clouding over as she tried to fight this horrible death grip the illness had taken. Finally, she came to manage a whisper,"The only reason your head hurts is because of one thing- You're breaking free, and I know it hurts. But even if you're scared, even if you think it may kill you.. Just think about it, you'd find something that's worth dying for."

Sawyer's head lifted from the pavement, her eyes spinning. She lurched forward and gagged, spitting out thick flem, mixed with blood and spittle. She stared at the mixture before she let out a groan. Her entire body spasmed before she fell forward with a dull thud. Her eyes slowly closed as words of prayer filled her mind, This can't be my dying day.
