What are Fausents?
Fausents, or Faus for short, are dragon-like creatures about the size of a Clydesdale horse. They were originally discovered on a remote Caribbean island, but spread across the world, adapting to many climates as a result of scientific studies.
They have feet almost like an elephants, enamelling them to walk upon marshy grounds.
Male Fausents use their cartilage "spikes" on their legs to attract females. The spikes are phosphorescent, meaning they do not produce their own light. Rather, the males are chosen by how long their spikes can glow after being put in the dark.
The long tails that all faus sport are bioluminescent, and glow when the fau that owns it wishes. They are used for luring in small creatures for prey.
