What is a Duck-Billed Ptero-Canis?
A Duck-Billed Ptero-Canis (or D-B P-C for short) is a Shetland pony sort of sized duck like creature that has only recently been discovered as a tame-able species. They are equip for live by large areas of water, but do not mind living away from it as long as there is food (they need to feed at least four times a day to keep them at a good size), and are quick swimmers despite their small (webbed) feet. The stand like the normal duck with the shrunken down wings of a Pterodactyl and the floppy ears of a Terrier dog, giving them poor flying skills (but some at least) and hearing to match. Their wide eyes give this species good sight (important for spotting danger around the water) and their wings are not only thick skinned but have a single claw on the tip for defensive reasons.
