"Mhm, I see." He answered with a half nod, giving a small shrug. "What would you use the lab for anyways, Ali?" Sam asked, arching a brow halfly as he walked, a grin appeared however. "I'll call you anything you'd like." He snickered, watching her out of the corner of his eye. An empty feeling entered his stomach and he was just vaguely aware of the person walking through his left side, and he hoped Ali wasn't aware at all.

She crossed her arms over her chest with a teasing glimmer to her eyes. "Do I need anymore reason then I am a mad scientist?!"She asked with a exasperated,but mocking tone. With a light laugh that took her breath away at her terrible accent. She slowly quieted down in a small fit of giggles,and proceed to just answer the question like a normal person. "But,uh,no. I really do just want to mess around,and possibly find the cure to cancer."She mused with a sort of shrug to her shoulders that kind of made her look like a turtle. Just a tad bit.. A cute one. Though she looked at him amused. "I don't mind what you call me,but remember the consequences if it's royalty!~"She said with a small mischievous grin. She had a feeling this might lead to other thoughts,but this was actually a really innocent gesture. Though she saw she thought of it as her imagination. Though she did a double take,and looked him up and down for a second. Maybe drinking coffee this morning was a bad idea? Probably. No more coffee or caffeine- Oh who was she kidding. That stuff is delicious.

II Sam II
A thousand thoughts flew threw his head, ones about being human, about being normal; the thought of a scientist being able to help him flew threw his head stuck with him for a few moments, but he was sure that the government would never leave him alone afterwards and being stuck in a federal asylum had to be worse than being stuck in this blasted school. Sam began to push the unfathomable thoughts away after a few moments and regain his composure with their conversation. He gave her a wide grin and watched the floor out of the corner of his eye. "That's a lovely accent!" He teased as he mimicked her tone playfully. "The cure to cancer? I wouldn't be surprised you seem like the kinda bookworm who'd find it!" Sam added with a half nod, dismissing the thought that she'd be freaked since she hadn't run away screaming already.

She cocked an eyebrow towards him. It was the worst accent of all time,but she guessed he was mocking her. "Why,thank you friend."She joked with a small giggled,and a shake to her head. Her hair swinging softly with the shake. She raised her eyebrow,and crossed her arms. "Yeah,I guess a bookworm like me might cure it. Don't bet your money on it though."She said with a bit of sarcasm,and a smirk. She smiled as she put her hands in her pockets. "Besides. I have an hour free,and I assume you do too? Otherwise I could walk you to you next class?"She asked with a small shrugs,and glanced at him.

He grinned at her. "More than welcome, princess." Sam laughed lightly, turning at the next turn to bring her to the locker room where he hid the necklace of his; he knew he could leave if she took it with her. "A bookworm like you, for sure!" He agreed with a half nod, swaying in step. He swayed in his step, looking over at her. "Actually, I do have a free hour, and i'm quite glad of it! I hate school, mostly." Sam murmured, glancing over at her.

She smirked,and walked beside him. Though when he started to sway she easily side stepped away from him with a laugh. She wondered for a second where she was taking him. "You know, I am not actually a bookworm really. I don't read that much. I mean.. I read,but not that much.."She stated with a small chuckled,and a shake to her head. She had a couple of passing thoughts,such as 'I wonder if I should dye my hair',and the ever most common 'I wonder if my TV Show is on tonight.' She looked at him,and smiled relieved."Good,but I like school so my curiosity peaks at why you do not?"She wondered out of curiosity. She humored him mostly,and noticed they were approaching the male locker rooms.

Sam grinned at her, his gaze shifting to the floor again in the most innocent, and unknowable act of self consciousness; he wasn't sure what had made him feel that way at that moment, but he did. "Mhm, really? You don't, are you sure?" He interrogated, more playfully than anything. "You not being a bookworm is pretty hard to believe, duckling." Sam half laughed, looking back up at her and then around to survey where they were. "It's become really boring, and - uh, unstimulating?" He'd been searching for another word but he knew, her not knowing what he was, she wouldn't understand what he meant. "I don't know, it just isn't like it used to be, it used to be fun.. now, I feel alone." Sam added, pursing his lips slightly as they finally arrived at the place he'd meant to take her. "Come on, I want to show you something- rather, get something out of my locker for you; there's nobody in the locker rooms."

She rolled her eyes and him,and scuffled her feet slightly. "Psh,It's not that hard to believe. I mean.. I use to be a bookworm. I use to read one book everyday."She holds up her fingers and makes a 'inch,2 inch' gesture. "Read one of those in a day,and I read the Harry Potter series in a week."She boasted with a bright smile. Then shrugged,"I just haven't found something to catch my attention,so I stopped reading."She stated,and walked beside him looking at her feet.She nodded at his 'excuse'. It made sense. School sometimes got that way with her because she was behind,and ahead every year. If that made sense. Since she moved around so much. She has went to private,public,and has been home schooled."Well,you're not alone now!"She teased with a small smile."Besides maybe I can make it less boring for you?"She asked with a raise of her eyebrow,and a sly smile.Though she stopped when he entered,and looked at him funny. "Boys locker room? There's a reason it says 'Boy's'. I am not supposed to be in there silly."She tilted her head with a confused look to her eyes. Though after a second she hesitantly followed him in.

"No, i'm not alone; i've got you now, duck. i have a feeling you aren't going to be staying long though, are you? After this year that is." Sam let out a breath sigh and almost looked away in shame; stupid girl was making him feel as bad as he ever felt, just for hiding a small secret from her. However, a grin appeared as she offered her joking offer of making it less boring. "That depends.." He started with a smirk, wiggling his brows playfully. "How do you intend to entertain me?" Sam questioned, grinning at her a moment before he looked back at the door. "Please, plenty of girls go in here; though, most times it's for something our teachers wouldn't approve up." He suppressed a cocked grin and pushed through the doors, heading in. "I'm afraid if I go in to get what I get you'll be gone when I come out; like I said, I doubt anyone's in here." Sam assured her, walking strait over to his locker, which he promptly unlocked and pulled the braided cloth baseball necklace from it. "Come on then, let's leave."
