"It's okay, Chance, it's okay." he said. He came forward to nuzzle her, but instead just held his muzzle in front of her's. "Good-by." he whispered. Head low, eyes looking like he was dying, he walked off. I shouldn't have thought it'd be real. I shouldn't have. Mystic should have never saved me.

Arco peered through the cave to watch the
two as he spoke, he felt a flicker of pity for Chevy,
he remembered how he had felt when he thought
he had lost Chance's affection. He sighed,
hoping he would be okay.

[Steffi.]

Chance sighed. She layed back down on the ground. She felt sick. She was the meanest person alive. I wish something like a tree would fall on me...

[Ranua]

Noticing the distress in her gaze
as she lay down Arco trotted over. He slumped
down next to her, folding himself around her, nuzzling her
cheek as he pressed close. "You okay?"
he asked, a bit worried for her.

[Steffi.]

"I'm a terrible person." she muttered to him. "I never do anything right..." Amelia came over and set herself down beside Chance before going to sleep again.

[Ranua]

"No your not!"
Arco said, slight anger in his tone. Though
he was mostly frustrated.
"Chevy and I both know your a great girl.
We just want you to be happy. It's not selfish of you to follow
your feelings. So your not the right mare for him?
He'll find a new mare who will become his mate and they'll
be happy together! Don't worry Chance, he'll find someone."
he promised her, nuzzling her cheek gently.

[Steffi.]

Chance sighed. There had to be a way to make everyone happy... She looked at Milly and it reminded her that she wanted to mate soon... She woudn't say anything, though. It was a strange topic for her.

Arco rested his head over her neck,
smiling. "Ill know you'll do the right thing."
he comforted. He blinked, noticing her shiver.
He sensed she was in heat and wanted to mate,
but he figured he'd wait a while longer before asking.
Seeing as she just had a foal he didn't think it would be too
healthy for her.

Chance smiled at his touch. "I know that I already have..." she said to him.

Arco smiled. For a moment
he had felt her emotions for him had faded
and were leaning back towards Chevy,
so he felt extremely relieved when she said that
to him.
