"Good girl. I'm afraid you still have to be punished, though." Asura picked up a knife with a dull blade off of the ground.

Lui nodded. He quietly and secretly made his way behind Asura's throne without him noticing.

[Balsam]

"No... Please d-don't..." Rin stared at the knife.

Ring stayed silent.

"I'm sorry. You need to be punished." using the tip of the knife, Asura drew a heart on her cheek. He didn't press hard enough to leave a scar, though.

Lui stared at the knife for a minute before he raised it over his head.

[Balsam]

"... Why are you doing this to me...?"

Ring watched.

"Because I love you." Asura smiled.

Lui plunged the knife into Asura's chest. His hands were shaking as he removed them from the hilt.

Asura moved Rin off of his lap. "You're going to get blood on my princess..." he said rather bluntly.

Lui backed away.

Rin tried to hide her horror.

Lui ran back to Ring.

Rin began to go over to Ring, walking backwards. "What... On... Earth...?"

Ring shook her head.
