I don't think it ever happened or will happen, the pet amounts gaps between rarities are too big for such a big skip c:

The only time it has happened was the time when the rarity calculation system was updated in August 2012; some pets that were "Common" became "OMG so common".

I don't think that really counts xD but I figured I should mention it

It could also happen if you got a LOT of people to delete all their outcomes of that pet, but that probably wouldn't happen. x)

Nope, definitely not rare before. Or at least the donkey that I have wasn't.

I`m not sure since the pets from May are still missing rarity tags.
