Stormfeather gave a sigh, basking in the sunlight while he could. He knew he would have to leave soon... He could only enjoy the peace for so long. He glanced over at the pretty tortoiseshell she-cat who had just gotten out of the warrior den with a yawn and a stretch. The felidae's eyes drifted over to the she-kit laying in the clearing to the warriors whispering among each other.

Morningwish padded out of the warriors den. She gave a yawn and a stretch, her evergreen optics heavy with sleep. Ugh, what's the point of this stupid war? Why can't the females fight? I just don't get it, Thought Morningwish with a growl. The young warrior padded around the camp, keeping her ears pricked for conversations.

"Hey," The young tom purred excitedly, rising to his snow white paws at the sight of the pretty she-cat, the cat that he had unintentionally relayed his feelings to. He had been half asleep when he told her how he felt, and couldn't help but kick himself over it. She had been a loner only a moon or two ago, and now he was pouring his heart out to this cat? Everything just felt... so unreal... "What 'cha doin'?" He mewed, nudging her gently with a broad shoulder.

The tiny cat's eyes flickered to the tom cat that stood at least two tail lengths to her right, and then to the she-cat that strolled from the warriors den. Angst pulsed from her pelt, and she couldn't help but wonder what was going on, why everyone was so up tight.

Firefly smiled. "Shallom," she purred.

Fireleaf rolled his eyes, slightly annoyed by her lack of answer of his question. She always seemed to do that, never wanting to give him a little insight on her. "Okay..." He mumbled in reply, sitting back at his post one more.

Firefly grumbled, her bright orange ears falling to her side.

With a dramatically heavy sigh, she plopped down in the middle of the clearing. No one's hunting, patrolling.... What should I do? Morningwish frowned. After some thinking, she just closed her eyes half way, and started to snooze.

Thorntail had reached the nursery now and peeked his head in, smiling at his small family. "Hey, Russet," he whispered gently, padding into the den fully and curling his body around the female.

Ash paw woke up to the sound of cats chatting, so she decided to join in. She padded out of the apprentice den and looked around for anyone who was alone.

Pebble paw turned around in her bed, but nothing much was done after that.

Fireleaf rolled his eyes, And there she goes again... He sighed, turning away from the she-cat.

The pretty white and russet coloured she-cat stuck her head out of her large nest and the sound of her mates voice, and smiled. "Hey," She whispered, purring, "How was you patrol?"

Flamekit bounced out of the nursery, under Thorntail's legs, and out into the open as if the warrior wasn't even their. He poked his tiny flame coloured head out of the den, looking both ways before he pranced out, just in time to see his friend leave the apprentices' den. "Hey Ashpaw!" He called, trotting over to her.
