The moment he touched the wound I hissed and slapped his hand away instinctively. "That hurts! That really freaking hurts!!" This had to have been the worst place to be wounded ever because any other time, I was usually pretty tolerant with the pain.

he winced and rubbed his hand, then looked back up at her with a soft gaze. "I know. I'm sorry. I have to clean it, okay?" Ren gently took her hand and placed it behind her. "No more slapping." He picked up the gauze and some disinfectant liquid crap that they used at the school.

My body tensed as my eyes landed on the disinfectant and I was already baring my fangs at him and growling. I did not do well with intense pain and he was definitely going to be hurt if he decided to proceed. In fact, I almost hoped that he'd chicken out and just leave me alone.

The growl itself surprised even me because it was completely inhuman. The pain was beyond excruciating so naturally, I snapped at him wanting it to just stop. "I hate you."
