✳My eyes widened as i seen another animaal jump onto the back of the beast. I shivered as my eyes followed the new animals movements. They where wide, and full of surprise at the gracefullness of the wolf. And the beauty of what I could see. I shrieked as it stood in front of me. My hands where curled up clutching my knees to myself. I screamed as the beast came for me. My eyes where still full of tears, and i was shaking with fear. CLosing my eyes just hoping for it to be over.

✳As soon as the things had run out whimpering, i stared at thje wolf that stood in front of me. I was scarred but felt safe. Crawling over to the wolf i slowly reached my hand towards it palm out.

➸ I turned to the girl. I pressed my muzzle into her palm and slowly, wagged my tail. My head was telling me to leave, and get back to the cave, but my body just wouldn't move. My tail drooped as I noticed her crying. I sat down and placed a paw on her hand. Like I was shaking her hand or high fiving her. I turned and watched out the mouth of the cave. Making sure what ever was here didn't come back. I looked back at her and stood up. I turned and trotted towards the mouth of the cave, gave my wet fur a good shake, and I turned to look at her. Wanting her to follow.

➸ I needed to get back to the cave. Now. So I had at least enough time to shift back. I couldn't leave her here. And I could leave her alone at this time of night. I sat down and waited for her patiently.

✳I smiled softly as i looked around. Slowly curling my fingers around his paw. Sighing i watched as the wolf trotted to the edge of the cave. I watched it for a bit before realizing it wanted me to follow him. I ran my fingers threw my hair, and stood up. Slowly i followed him, chewing on my lip as i did so. Chewing it slightly as my hands curled around the scruff on his neck. As i slowly followed him, and released him after a while knowing where to go from here on.

✳Sighing i glanced down at the wolf, my hands running along the bark of the trees as i passed each one. I glanced up at the sky shivering, as the rain pleted down on me.

➸ We were getting closer to the cave. I felt like shifting now, to they it done and over with. But i'd risk her finding out my secret. I was torn, torn between Human and wolf. I couldn't risk it. Not when I just met her. She was so afraid. Afraid of me and the island. I knew now was better than later. Or was it never? I stopped walking, I backed up and away from her. My tail drooped and it was between my legs. I turned my head away, and whimpered a little. I couldn't, I shouldn't, I wouldn't. Those words rang through my head, making it so much harder to decide. That gash on my face, was now starting to sting. But I just ignored it. I looked up at her. Sitting down, I shifted back. To the boy, the boy that was in the cave, on the boat, the one that saved her.

➸ I was expecting her to scream and run, just run away from the monster I am. I stood up and grabbed her wrists, pinning her against a tree. ''I won't hurt you I promise.'' I said, I held a firm grip on her. So she couldn't get away. I just wanted her to understand that I wasn't going to hurt her. I just wanted to be friends.

✳I looked back at him as he whimpered. I arched an eye brow watching him. As he sat down before shifting. Shifting back to the boy I've seen multiple times. I wanted to scream, but nothing would come out as I stood there staring at him shocked. That is until he had me pinned against a tree let I let out a little shriek. I looked up at him with wide eyes, I wanted to believe him. I mean he was always so nice to me, so why not? Because I was scared, frieghtened to say the least. So as I stood there pinned against a tree, which just let me say really hurts. Anyway, I got to thinking. But I still didn't know what to do.

✳Well, I took that little problem really well. Wait no I didn't. I thought as I faint falling into his arms..

➸ Well for starters, that went just plain Fantastic! catch the scarcasim? Yeah. I caught her and held her close, wrapping my jacket around her. Picking her up, I sigh and mimble a few curses. I started to walk slowly towards the cave. I wallked inside, and I noticed that the fire was out. I walked to the far end of the cave and set her down. Turning back to the fire, I put some sticks in it. I lit another fire and I walked outside. Deciding that now would be the time to leave.

➸ walking I to the Rain, I decided to head on down to the beach to find some more fire wood. Then head on back to see if she was awake.

✳A cold breath blowing against my, brushing my brown hair from my face is what woke me up. But i was still a bit groggy. Stretching, i sighed looking aorund. Expecting to be on the boat and mom just has the room's window open. That all thhaat happened last night was a dream. Opening my eyes, they widened. "Oh god" i said as my mind finally rigistered where i was. I wasn't on the boat, which meant what happened yesterday wasn't a dream. I wasn't bothered by the fact that the boy can shift. What i was bothered by is the fact that my parents could be dead on the beach. Or a shark could've gotten to them. I squeaked thinking of all the possiblities of their death. They could've went down with the ship. Tears filled my eyes as the fear of losing my parents struck me. I sniffled wiping a tear away.

✳Sighing, i got myself under control. And stopped the stupid thoughts. I definatly didn't want to be thinking about that right now. No i was wondering where the boy was, and how long he was able to do what he did. Now that i've had some rest, it doesn't bother me a teeny bit, just surprised still. I mean, he can shift into a wolf! That fricken awesome! But with the way i reacted yesterday, he was probably thinking my thoughts where opposite of those.

➸ I made my way to the sandy shore. I walked out and I smiled, the sand under my feet was wet and squishy. Walking along the shore, I looked around for anything that might be of some usage. I had already confiscated a knife and some matched from the captain. Why he had them was beyond me. I walked along the shore, retracing my steps. I still saw the bodies of those that i had killed, well, what's left of them anyway. I looked down the beach and i noticed a pile of decent looking drift wood. I jogged over and picked up the pile. I left some there just in case i came back and needed some more. Turning I started to walk back into the forest.

➸ I wasn't as cold as you'd think. The air was crisp and the rain was chilly, but that didn't bother me much. I continued on my trek back to the cave. I looked around, occasionally picking up some sticks that would prove useful as firewood.

✳I bit my lip chewing on it, as i sat there staring at the flames. They were dying, and the one thing i failed to ever learn, was how to keep it going. Or even start it. I always had bad luck when it came to fire, no matter what i always ended up burning myself. Even with a sparkler! I'm just a very unlucky person when it comes to fire. Thats why i stay a distance, yet i stay close enough to remain warm. But the fire dying wasn't going to help keep me warm. And i didn't plan on scooting any closer. I really don't want to end up burn, not again at least.

✳Glancing up out of the cave, i was glad to see it was just a light rain at the moment. And i got to thinking about the boy. I don't even know his name... Wow, i'm a horrible person.

➸ I finally got back to the cave and I walked inside. I got on my knees and started to put some sticks in the fire. I had to break a few, but that was ok. I glanced at the girl now and then, smirking. I looked back at the fire as It started to grow. Slowly but surely it grew. I smiled and set the rest of the sticks and wood beside the fire. I turned to head back out. "the names Aleighandro. Just call me Luka" I said glancing back at her, ice-blue eyes narrowed. I walked back out. I had guess she didn't know my name. But that was fine. I jogged off into the forest. now intent on finding something to eat. For both of us. I was leaning towards going after the fawn. Since i was downwind anyway. I shifted and trotted deeper into the woods.

➸ Making my way, I passed by the cave that thing was in. I looked at it for a moment before walking past it. I knew it wouldn't be back for a while. but as long as It wasn't here, then i should be fine. I jumped over a log and began to find the fawns scent. The rain had washed it away almost completely. so i pretty much had to start from scratch.
